I have been tracking attendance to this group off and on for quite a while. I first heard of it in the 1970s when I read the book “A Choice Not an Echo” by Phyllis Schlafly, which she wrote exposing some of the dirty tricks of the GOPe. They had approached a conservative who was considered a potential presidential candidate, and he said no thanks and spilled the beans.
For years, the existence of the group was denied. However, persistent independent journalists regularly found out where it was located, and filmed people as they arrived, then published a more extensive list.
There used to be a website - Can’t recall the name - Spotlight or some such that had a lot of info each year till they were shut down.
A paper from Texas printed that Gov Perry was going to attend the meeting back when Arafat was going. Perry was to make a presentation on Federalism. It was speculated that war in the Middle East was on the agenda, and that did happen.
The EU was also predicted after one of these meetings and that happened. Occasionally, hotel personnel overheard stuff and spilled the beans. Sometimes attendees who quit spill the beans.
At least they have quit denying the group exists. They still don’t get the same amount of coverage that any other group would : G7, World Economic Forum, Globull warming meetings etc.
Rush was never seen nor listed, but of course I can’t speak for every single year, and they do some times manage to smuggle people in unobserved-like Obama and Hillary.
Many of the so called journalists are included in attendance which is by invitation only along with rich and powerful, royalty, and politicians. The meetings are closed to the public, and no one is supposed to tell anything about what is discussed.
Most of the mainstream media ignores the meeting, and I’d guess that the majority of the people in the world don’t know about it. I thought their next meeting was supposed to be in June, so maybe the Trump upset has them scrabbling for a new game/path to their goals.
If you follow Twitter, there are Bilderberg tweeters. One I picked up was on one of LG’s pompous threads.
