Favorite "Sun or Summer" Songs

Aint No Sunshine Bill Withers
Ain't no sunshine when she's gone It's not warm when she's away. Ain't no sunshine when she's gone And she's always gone too long Anytime she goes away.
Wonder this time where she's gone Wonder if she's gone to stay Ain't no sunshine when she's gone And this house just ain't no home Anytime she goes away.
And I know, I know, I know, I know, I know, I know, I know, I know, I know, I know, I know, I know, I know, I know, I know, I know, I know, I know, I know, I know, I know, I know, I know, I know, I know, I know, Hey, I oughtta leave young thing alone But ain't no sunshine when she's gone
Ain't no sunshine when she's gone Only darkness every day. Ain't no sunshine when she's gone And this house just ain't no home Anytime she goes away. Anytime she goes away. Anytime she goes away. Anytime she goes away.

Anne Ducros - Summertime
Summertime and the livin' is easy Fish are jumpin' and the cotton is high Your daddy's rich and your ma is good lookin' So hush, little baby, don't you cry
One of these mornin's, you're gonna rise up singin' you're gonna spread your wings and you'll take to the sky But 'til that mornin', there is nothin' can harm you With Daddy and Mummy, standing by Don't you, don't you cry

Looks like rain and some thunderstorms are close to you. They’re weakening a little but you should get a little something, at least.
Lucky!!!

It looks like it’s doing what it does here ...... the leading edge hits a certain point and fizzles. Everything behind it fizzles as it reaches the same point.
Some thing might get to you yet, though. Keep your fingers crossed for luck!

That’s what I saw when I looked at the radar. It happens here all too often and it’s frustrating as heck. It’s like I-65 is a wall and the rain can’t get past it.
Bummer it happened there. You need the rain worse than we do.
We have a shot three days next week and maybe the rain will get here at least one of those days.

He is. I bought “Them” when I was 14, still listening to him today, more years later then I want to think.

There was SO MUCH incredible music from the '60's That there was. I went from listening to James Brown, Joe Turner, Jimmy Reed to Blind Faith, Cream, Hendrix. From Smokey Robinson or the Four Seasons to CSNY, all in the span of 10 years! And too many others to name for a short post!
