The conservative Weekly Standard’s editor Bill Kristol’s failed third-party candidate, David French, is now claiming presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump’s campaign intimidated him not to run — but won’t provide evidence to support his allegation. French, with little to no name recognition, is a staff writer for the conservative National Review and was tapped by Kristol to run as a third-party candidate to stop Trump in the general election.
French said on Tuesday during an appearance on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” that Trump “unlocked something terrible in this country.”

I was in the car this evening, and tuned into the HATE-TRUMP-FEST (Steve Deace) for a few minutes. Deace played the clip of French.
Deace came right out in favor of four years of Hillary as LESS EVIL than four years of Trump.
Deace is mentally ill—or is a whore.
I was late paying my tax bill because David French intimidated me. I have no evidence to back that up, but that's the story I'm sticking to.

One of his catch-phrases used to be “Don’t be a slappy.” By which he meant, Don’t latch onto one candidate and make him the MESSIAH.
The moment Deace endorsed Cruz, he turned into a total slappy for Cruz. Cruz is godly, brilliant, nothing but integrity from the top of his head to the tips of his toes, a genius, a Constitutionalist. If you don’t support Cruz you are not a Christian and will burn in Hell. Donald Trump is the most evil human being who has ever been conceived, and he’s been burnishing his evilness ever since. Trump is Hitler, Mao, Stalin, Pol Pot, P.T. Barnum, and Bernie Madoff all rolled into one.
I was impressed for about a year. Then he started spewing hysterical, vile, poisonous slander of Trump.
What’s so pathetic is, you can tell Deace is throwing EVERYTHING he has at Trump, and it’s NOTHING. It’s mostly soundbites of people saying nasty things about Trump. Or else it’s just Deace lying about what Trump has said, or putting the worst possible construction on something Trump said.
A third party candidate would hurt Hillary.

I miss Kristol prefacing (in full disclosure) “My wife is working for (.......) campaign”.
It was probably the most honest reporting by media in decades.
