Hillary Clinton took a lot of flak on Monday after a report surfaced that the presidential candidate wore a Giorgio Armani jacket worth more than $12,000 during a speech in April about inequality.
Clinton, who was well-known for her vast pantsuit collection, has upgraded her wardrobe during her most recent bid for president to appear more relatable, according to the New York Post.
Social media users don't seem to be buying it, however.

Hillary wants to look less drab and more exciting.
I wonder if $12,000 buys that upgrade.

Who in their right mind would pay that much for a freaking jacket?
I’m sure Hildabeast didn’t. It was probably given to her as a “gift.”

Oh yeah, a $12k Armani jacket is going to make her more relatable.

It's hard to believe anyone would pay $12k for something that unattractive. The amazing thing though is that the designer probably gave it to Hillary for the free "advertising". Now he's going to make a whole lot of sales to women who want to look just like Hillary . . . to impress the men in their lives.

There is not much that Mrs. Clinton can wear that would help her, as the post menopausal gods have treated her in a most unkind manner; and, (one suspects) that many years of dissolute behavior have taken an appearance toll as well.
5-figure cost Armani suits notwithstanding, most of her pant-suit wardrobe look as if it comes from the Closeout racks from Arkansas Truckstops.
