Heads up FL Gulf Coasters...A Hurricane Hunter mission is scheduled to investigate TS Colin again at 0100. There is a lot of Tampa Bay local news discussion that the storm center may actually be 75 miles further east than currently indicated. In other words, the storm effects may pose more impact to the West FL peninsula than originally forecast. The latest model runs appear to be picking up a more eastern location for the storm center. Stay tuned.

Yeah tell me about it....
....I went to bed early and the weather radio woke me about 11pm with updates on the storm....
....it still sounds like a bit of rain to me...
....and it’s way too early in the season, it seems, for all this hype
OF course, our last batch of biggies was a whole 11 years ago!!!
I remember well......our daughter was pregnant and we made sure to evacuate with her, & her husband !,......Twice!
Once to Jacksonville....once only to Orlando, we got a late start.

We are not getting much out of this it is big but not bold.I guess a track maybe 100 miles north of Clearwater or even less is what they call now? Barometer just started heading back up at the Dry Tortugas which tells me its passing there. It never got below 28.80 its at 29.84 now,a big nothing as far as storms go.
