A new poll by Quinnipiac University has Donald Trump beating Hillary Clinton in her own demographic — namely, Caucasian women.
According to ABC News, the poll released Wednesday showed Hillary Clinton with a slight lead over Donald Trump nationally. However, when looking at white women, Trump had a 41 to 40 percent lead over Clinton.
So much for all that war on women rhetoric.
Trump had a bigger lead among white males, with a whopping 60 to 26 percent lead in the polls. Needless to say, ABC News thought it was about time to trot out some “experts” to explain why horrible, neanderthal men might be willing to support Trump.

I agree and am starting to get concerned about how Trump will do against Bernie/Warren or Warren/Bernie or Biden/Bernie or Biden/Warren.
I still feel that the FBI will do the right thing vis a vis a recommendation to indict Hillary. I see 2 options for the Dems:
1. Obama says: "Indict".
2. Obama sits on it and the FBI leaks it.
In the case of Option 1 the Dems will drop Hillary like a hot rock. The message from Obama will be load and clear: We another candidate to beat Trump.
If this happens it will be after the Dem Primaries (June 14) and either before or after the Dem Convention in late July.
The argument for delaying beyond the Convention has already occurred to some pundits: It will reduce the influence of the Bernie Faction that will be out in force during the Convention. Obama would time it this way to open the door for Biden and or Warren in some combination.

Somewhere between 40% and 47% of the vote is guaranteed because Democrats are that stupid. They are like sheep who will vote for whom they are told when they are told. But I am betting the p*$$ed off Bernie supporters are going to move that needle closer to the 40%.
Enter the 5% third party person who is supposed to guarantee a Hillary win. He may be like John Anderson of the 1980 election . . . the perfect place to go for those people who can never vote for anyone with an "R" after their name but just can't stand Hillary.
And a lot more women (of all colors) than they try to lead us to believe - as a general rule, mothers want what's best for their children.

If I’m a non-Clintonista democrat player with a long view, this is an election you write off. The Clintonistas have become more bad than good for the party, but are so entrenched they cannot be purged from within. So you tank this election, and have the voters purge them. Then rebuild. Thanks to 0bama and Clinton hogging all the power and eliminating possible competition, the dems have a shallow bench of mostly old washed up hacks like Slow Joe and Fauxahontas.
For them, the only real strategy is tear down and rebuild.
To which I will add that the original purpose of running John Anderson was to siphon votes from Reagan for those so-called “moderate” Republicans. In the end, it worked out exactly the opposite as Anderson did far better in New York and New England than in his home territory of Illinois/Wisconsin.

I think Obama has to be thinking about Post Presidency importance and his standing. A President Hillary would likely not give him the time of day, much less tolerate his meddling into DNC politics.
I think he will cut her loose and throw her under the bus but he has to figure out how (and what replacement) he can take out Bernie with.
If before the convention Bernie become the candidate. If after whomever she chooses as her VP becomes the candidate. It’s as simple as that !
