Bill Kristol’s Candidate: It’s ‘Important to Say’ White Working Class Communities ‘Deserve to Die’
Breitbart ^ | Breitbart | Breitbart

Posted on 06/01/2016 9:43:36 AM PDT by Brookhaven

While Donald Trump has called on the GOP to become a “worker’s party”— a development Sen. Jeff Sessions called for two years ago, ironically, in the pages of the National Review— French has defended the idea that white working-class communities “deserve to die.”

Specifically, French wrote a piece in support of Kevin D. Williamson, who had said:

The truth about these dysfunctional, downscale communities is that they deserve to die. Economically, they are negative assets. Morally, they are indefensible. Forget all your cheap theatrical Bruce Springsteen crap. Forget your sanctimony about struggling Rust Belt factory towns and your conspiracy theories about the wily Orientals stealing our jobs. Forget your goddamned gypsum, and, if he has a problem with that, forget Ed Burke, too. The white American underclass is in thrall to a vicious, selfish culture whose main products are misery and used heroin needles. Donald Trump’s speeches make them feel good. So does OxyContin. What they need isn’t analgesics, literal or political. They need real opportunity, which means that they need real change, which means that they need U-Haul.

French insists that the devastation of the working-class’ livelihoods is unrelated to failed federal policies such as mass immigration:

[I] have seen the challenges of the white working-class first-hand. Simply put, Americans are killing themselves and destroying their families at an alarming rate. No one is making them do it. The economy isn’t putting a bottle in their hand. Immigrants aren’t making them cheat on their wives or snort OxyContin. Obama isn’t walking them into the lawyer’s office to force them to file a bogus disability claim.

When readers responded with outrage to French’s piece, French doubled down in a post entitled “The Great White Working-Class Debate: Just Because I’m ‘Nasty’ Doesn’t Mean I’m Wrong.”

Does it matter? Many people, including Trump, don’t think Trump needs the votes of the type of people that would vote for French anyway.

” And he’s made himself a lot of money in his pre-political life.”

That’s certainly something that irritates Marxists. And apparently it bothers you.

“He’s made himself a lot of money in his pre-political life” translates to my being bothered about him making a lot of money? Bizarre.

George Soros has created businesses and employed thousands of people too.

Were we talking about Rush?

“Trump has done nothing for the conservative cause prior to running this year.” Knock on Trump

‘He’s been and continues to be a loud-mouth, which many people happen to appreciate.” Knock on Trump

“And he’s made himself a lot of money in his pre-political life.”

3rd in a list. So yeah, genius, your little train of complaints makes it obvious that you don’t like the fact that Trump made a lot of money. That’s why you included it. You weren’t trying to praise him. Maybe you’re feeling the Bern and forgot what website you are posting at.

You’re reading in to things that aren’t there. I didn’t say any of those things were bad. Are they?

He was busy working instead of playing politics, right? No time for supporting conservative causes, but now that he’s running he’s brining the conservative cause to the forefront, isn’t he?

Is not one of his biggest selling points that he doesn’t take crap from anyone? He really man-handled those reporters yesterday, right?

A Bernie supporter? LOL. Sure. You find one thing I’ve said ever that lends credence to that I’ll go ahead and opus out and find a Bernie forum.

Aren’t you coy. “I didn’t say those were bad.” Go pull your crap on somebody who thinks your act is cute.

Yeah, I have a hard time, sometimes, wording things the way I would like to. But, I’m glad we don’t have to go down the path of you thinking I’m a Bernie supporter; liberal creep.

It doesn’t mean that these communities “deserve to die”. It means that conditions today are destroying what used to be and should be the most vibrant part of the US economy. Just letting the middle class die because it deserves it??? What deserves to die is the Illuminati who have now unmasked their ugly faces!

He’s selfish and only looking out for his rich friends. Another piece of trash from America, but he isn’t working class. He’s entitled class.

The point being that working class communities are dysfunctional due to high rate of drug use and high percentage of out of wedlock children.”

Those are symptoms of the disease, not the disease itself.

When men can’t find work, they turn to alcohol and drugs to ease the pain. It’s been that way for a thousand years.

When women can’t find husbands with steady jobs, they have their children out of wedlock, so they can obtain government benefits. It’s been that way since the 1960’s.

The core problem is the jobs have moved out of the area, leaving MEN jobless.

“So many were on meth and other drugs, that the company decided to go elsewhere.”

You are describing what has been the problem in the black community for decades. Now that problem has moved into the white community. Why? Do you actually believe it is because whites (as a group) have become lazy and shiftless? Because, that seems to be the point you were trying to make.

Or, could it be that whites, like blacks before them, had problems because they were on the low end of the economic stick with no hope of rising out of it?

People are not a fungible commodity. They have specific identities that reflect their biology, history & basic inclinations. Also, do not allow a smear of whole communities by hacks who focus on the behavior of the worst elements in those communities.

What is destroying the West today, is the deliberate downplaying of the importance of different biological, historical and personality traits, in an effort to promote the fantasy that humans are interchangeable--a direct attack on the importance of the vast variations in human cultures & values.

Egalitarian humanism is the ultimate denigration of humanity.

Are you some kind of embittered Cruz supporter? Comparing Soros who never had any pretence of being anything but a leftist socialist (progressive) jack%zz with Trump? You don’t appear to be of sound mind.

You used the example that Trump had helped the conservative cause by creating businesses and jobs. I was just pointing out that Soros had also created businesses and jobs. So maybe your example wasn’t the best way to show what Trump has done for the conservative cause prior to running. I’m sure there’s a better example.

Roos girl is the biggest sore Cruzer here. Look at her complain about Trump’s money while apparently being totally comfortable with the Cruz family raking in millions from sleazy Goldman Sachs and self admittedly giving none of it to charity. How principled and conservative of them.

Huge difference. Soros made his money in currency speculation and hedge funds. A guy convicted of insider trading. We’re not talking about the same type of job creation here. You create jobs at least gives you some moxy to walk the walk if you’re going to talk about jobs and the health of the economy and what your plan is going forward. Rush - all he can do is talk and then fold his cards when his advertisers didn’t like what he said about Fluke. His contribution - hot air. Trump has created tangible assets and is prepared to use his experiences in asset creation for his country not to destroy it like the globalist Soros.
