Katie Couric apologized on Monday after days of criticism about a misleading edit in her new documentary that made gun rights advocates appear to be speechless when asked a simple question about gun control.
I take responsibility, the news anchor wrote in a statement on the website for Under the Gun, a documentary about gun violence in America that she narrated and produced.

A lot of the commenters share Couric’s views on guns and chide her for not being more effective.
Said the real responses were stupid & that she should have let them stand.
It’s a culture war, folks.

Taking responsibility is one thing. Hillary does it all the time for the “visual”.
However, they NEVER actually FIX their errors - no accountability whatsoever.
That used to be the purview of the publisher's editors. I guess that responsibility is now viewed as unnecessary. And the MSM wonders why people are seeking their news elsewhere.
“She must have the IQ of dust.”
With apologies to dust, of course...
A professional lamestream media journalist should know how to do a better job hiding the direct evidence of her bias and lies.
She should never have permitted her targets to simultaneously record the interview. That's a rookie mistake. Always maintain complete control over the only copy of the raw feed so you can edit it however you want.
She is a shill for the NWO-—to destroy ALL our Freedoms. Just a useful idiot of the hard-core NWO super elite sodomite fascists (otherwise, she wouldn’t have gotten the fame/power/money, she would have been Brietbarted). She is as diabolical as they come: sold her Soul to Satan to destroy the Christian Worldview to implant paganism (slavery) since Vice creates slaves only.
As understood for 2400 years in Western Civ., and why ONLY Christian Worldview created the Age of Reason/Modern Science and the US Constitution (Justice System)-—why only Christians got rid of pederasty, child-killing, slavery, polygamy, homosexuality, slavery, etc as a “good” (all normal in Eastern/pagan cultures which all promoted evil, satanic uses of mankind, where dignity and meaning are completely removed (like in sodomy, baby-killing and polygamy). (Irrational filthy uses of man).
Anyone, like Couric, who promotes vice and irrational behaviors (animal urges that strip dignity from man are “good”) are evil and people should never listen to her warped, evil dumb “opinions”. I don’t. Never watched her stupid IRRATIONAL Marxist opinions for 15 years.
Couric’s not sorry....she got her agenda/message out the barn door before “objection” was shouted....
Word is getting out on this one, people are talking about it
Whos gonna present Perky with the Mary Mapes Award, at the Golden Globes?
...
The pause was fake but accurate.
“Katie Couric says sorry for getting caught ‘misleading’ in gun rights documentary.”
There we go.
Too late, Katie. Everything you say or write will now be suspect.
Couric purposefully and with intent edited to formulate a manipulation to form a “fact” that didn’t exist. That was no apology.
She is not a “Liberal”, a liberal is a grandmother that smoked pot at Woodstock and has goofy views about politics. She is a Leftist, Leftist will send you to re-education camps and broadcast Propaganda.
Katie was raised at NBC, the same network that brought us exploding Chevy pickup trucks.
Exactly.
She is no novice to how newsrooms operate.
Even when she was on The Today Show, she was famous for wording questions a certain way:
‘There are those who say ...’
‘Some say ...’
She never identified who ‘those’ or ‘some’ were nor did she ever give a number of how many they represented. It was a sneaky technique to try to get the interviewee to respond to something that really was not an issue.
It was her version of Stephanopoulos asking Romney in a 2012 primary debate whether states have a right to ban contraceptives. Recall Romney’s dumbfounded look? That was because NO state was trying to ban contraceptives. It was a manufactured question designed to put focus on the issue of women’s health. It was a trick and Romney fell for it.
A Lois Lerner type of apology.
“I never intended to make anyone look bad”
And she continues to lie.
Yep. Bless her heart. She thought she could get away with it. Nothing new.
