On Saturday a four-year old boy fell into a gorilla enclosure at the Cincinnati Zoo.
Sadly the gorilla, named Harambe, was shot and killed by zoo officials to save the life of the child, sparking outrage on social media.
The most ludicrous of the objections came from those who actually believed the gorilla was killed because of racism.
Conservative author and commentator Mark Dice uncovered some of the most outrageous tweets, including a slew that referred to the child as a white boy and one that called the killing an act of white privilege.
As Dice pointed out in his video the race of the child was still unknown.

Back when I would hug trees in Santa Cruz, I would sort of ask the tree if it was okay if I hugged it and I would feel their spirit or energy or something give a response back, and then proceed accordingly, a UCSC alumna who identified herself only as Serenity told the Corsair.
Consent is definitely important, she continued.
One needs to ask an Evolutionist about this.
bingo
But WHY?
They are definitely outnumbered!
Now wouldn’t it be racist in the first place to equate the gorilla with...oh nevermind. Everyone’s lost their minds.
To some people, black ink on white paper is racist. Never let the truth get in the way of an opportunity to decry racism.
I’d like to know why the parents were not put on the spot for not watching their kid. He did not simply fall into the habitat, he had to crawl under a few barriers. And why didn’t the zoo use a tranquilizer? Seems like a drastic, knee jerk response to this situation.
There was actually a candle light vigil last night. For the ape.
People are astoundingly stupid.
Both the kid and the gorilla were black. Move along.
The Cincinnati Zoo was niggardly in failing to provide a secure enclosure for the now late gorilla.
The 'racist' argument prompts the question, doesn't it?
God gave man dominion over all these animals.
I’m sure that came as great comfort to those myriad early hominids routinely killed and eaten by saber toothed cats and dire wolves...
Tell it to Noah.
Reparations time! Non suoi juris infant vs Hamrabe. Poor Harambe has no defense. Maybe Hamrabe’s mother can get his name copyrighted and make a bundle on T shirts, “Justice for Hamrabe, gunned down by a Sheriff wannabe.”
Why would black parents take their black child to the zoo if it is such a racist place?
...humpty backed camels and some chimpanzees...
Except that the little boy was black.
