As the 2016 presidential primaries got underway, there seemed to be several incontrovertible truths: Hillary Clintons nomination was inevitable, and Donald Trump stood no chance. Yet, here we are six months before the election, and Trump has seized the Republican nomination while Clinton is still working to box out Bernie Sanders insurgency (without losing his voters, who it turns out, may peel off after all).

A Referendum on Obamas Administration and Bill Clintons
Historically speaking, it is rare that a party that completed two terms in the Oval Office manages to win a third. Granted, Obama has been a transformational president, and his popularity remains high. However, the problem facing Hillary is that shes not only going to be held to account for the failures and shortcomings of the Obama administration, but also of her husbands tenure in office.
Consider: Despite Hillary Clintons unparalleled credentials, her historic potential as the first female POTUS, her early and nearly insurmountable delegate lead, and the near-unanimous and robust support from the Democratic Party establishment throughoutshe is having trouble closing the deal for the nomination.

Huffington Post deciding to put all coverage of Trump in the entertainment section...
As more than a few reporters have noted, they gave the nomination to Trump. In their zeal to pounce on anything and everything, they gave him a massive platform to get his name and face out in front of the voting public, and then reported with glee over and over again that which they were enraged over, but most people could nod and agree with.
I mean, $54 million dollars spent to win the primary. I'd love to dissect out how much was spent for all those massive rallies and security and actually see how much was spent on the traditional campaign.
Such anal agony...
Wisdom from Ali Gharbage. Haul it away.
Thankfully Rubio didn’t get his way in 2013, or Trump likely wouldn’t be running, and if he did run, all of Rubio’s newly-naturalized ‘citizens’ would EASILY make sure that he never had a chance.
A brilliant analysis from a committed lefty.
The commie libs are starting to panic. There’s a lot of bedwetting and exploding heads going on out there.
Good article... well-balanced and an astute analysis.
Professor Al-Gharbi is probably right Hillary has a narrow path to victory.
What cripples her are her ethical baggage, her stiff manners and the fact Americans want change.
And she is the establishment candidate.
Bwahahahaha - run, bitches.
Of course, when I pointed out that it was Obama's administration who ordered those unneeded closures, they quickly moved on to attacking Cruz's Christianity.
Then I asked what they hoped that Hillary would enact as president. They responded with the usual litany of higher minimum wage (and evaded when I asked if they wanted a minimum wage job), helping those suffering from the Obama (err, American) economy, improving race relations (No, she'd do better than a half-black president, really) and then they petered out. (Sorry, ran out of words, shouldn't use a masculine phrase...)
That's the thing, everything they crave, Bernie's been campaigning for. FREE COLLEGE FOR EVERYONE, punish those nasty Wall Street criminals that Hillary gets paid hundreds of thousands to speak to, umm, forgiveness of college loan debt and... umm, higher minimum wages! (no, we really don't want a minimum wage job...)
The most entertaining part is, no one stated the obvious - it's about getting a woman elected president. I don't know if it is just because liberals have moved past gender identity politics (hey, 31 different genders according to NYC, hard to keep up with that...) or if all they see when they look at Hillary is Bill's third term in office.
Of course, therein lies Hillary's second worst Achilles heel, Bill Clinton (for the first, please ask Russia to hand you copies of all her e-mails during her time as Madame Secretary.)
LAW OF UNINTENDED CONSEQUENCES-—The Clintons may have overlooked one tiny thing as they got rich using political connections, grabbing everything that wasn’t nailed down. And they never—ever—”broke a rule or a law.”
IMHO, the videos of speech-making Hillary at the dais....shown over and over again..... really hurt her carefully monitored image.
The Clintons surely thought Hillary being a popular speaker added to Hilly’s electability.
She did not allow her comments to be aired.....all we saw was a happy, smiling, effervescent Hillary, rifling through her notes.
It was only later that we learned she was pocketing huge speaking fees......in one day alone, she pulled in over $600,000 for making just two speeches.
No wonder she was smiling.
like the man said, flying and hours being flown are not diplomacy
More like Vlad the Impaler.
No. She hasn't accomplished a damn thing in her entire life that wasn't a FELONY.
Alas, I was slow to the party. I didn't figure it out until 7/21.
That was the day Trump gave out Lindsey Graham's phone number.
Nothing has been done to counteract the massive voter fraud in many states.
Most scams are felonies.............
Recall Columbia University had Mahmoud Ahmadinejad speak there in 2012. Plus, it's been ground-zero for communism in the United States for over 100 years.
If you'd like to read more from this jerk, you can go to his blog Fiat Sopia and enjoy articles such as "Reclaiming Jihad," "Social Movement Requires Force," and "On the Philosophical Underpinnings of Al-Qaeda & the Islamic State." My personal favorite is "Americas biggest terror threat is from the far right."
LOL...That was hilarious. Arrogant phonies in D.C. like Graham et al, are exactly what is wrong with this country.
Best election ever.
So true. The msm is so invested in the PC crap that they believe that everyone is on the group think train. When Mr Trump said that he didn’t intend to separate illegal families with anchor babies...the adults were free to take their children with them, he hit a nerve. It was an obvious solution to a stupid problem that we never should have had.
People I work with are asking me political questions about things they had no curiosity about before. People are listening to Mr Trump because he speaks like a regular guy.
I laugh at the fear-sweat of LIB asshats. Bwaaaaaahahahahahaha!
