BISMARCK, N.D. A constant stream of changes and scuffles are unsettling Donald J. Trumps campaign team, including the abrupt dismissal this week of his national political director.
A sense of paranoia is growing among his campaign staff members, including some who have told associates they believe that their Trump Tower offices in New York may be bugged, according to three people briefed on the conversations.
And there is confusion among his donors, who want to give money to a super PAC supporting Mr. Trump, but have received conflicting signals from top aides about which one to support.
On Thursday, Mr. Trump secured the Republican Partys nomination for president, a remarkable achievement for a political newcomer. But inside his campaign, the limits of his managerial style reliant on his gut and built around his unpredictable personality are vividly on display, according to interviews with nearly a dozen Republicans inside and outside of the operation.

Of course Trump's campaign organization is somewhat disorganized. So was Einstein's desk.
His campaign organization must now adapt for the General Election and Trump seems to be doing just that. Just 8 days ago, before the firing of Wiley, Trump promoted Manafort to the position of Campaign Chairman and Chief Strategist. They're getting better positioned to roll into the General.
Trump has shown himself to be able to look at his and his organization's strengths and weakness with great clarity and honesty...and to make changes with breathtaking speed to correct problems.
It's not that Trump is a manager or strategist or planner. He can hire managers, strategists, and planners by the truckload.
It's that he has clarity of vision, a creative, open mind, a willingness to listen and see things for what they are. And on top of that, he is a man of action.
Poor Hillary. Her moon-haped head will be spinning until Election Day.
While working in aerospace with a top management team (i was there for comic relief), our manager stated that problems were always expected in any project. He added that one of the keys in determining the difference between a mediocre program and an outstanding program was quick problem recognition and resolution. Think Mr. Trump is doing fine in that department if you ask me.
There was a better pic of Mittens giving her a hug but it was a Getty image which I don't think can be posted here.
Wow! Nearly a dozen. Which probably means nine or ten.
What does inside and outside the operation mean? Three protesters outside the convention hall plus three who sneaked in to protest plus three who were actually there to support him.
Well, that would be two thirds of the group which which would verify this meme.
I predict a sweep of all 57 states.
New York Slimes trying for a unit citation in the Wile E Coyote Trump Frustration Award competition. “Beep! Beep!”
Exactly.
His detractors try to portray that characteristic as unpredictability or lack of direction, but what it really shows is that he is adaptable and quick to size up and respond to a rapidly changing situation.
His adaptability is reminiscent of that of top military leaders. I'm not surprised--he attended school at a military academy as a teen.
A President Trump is who we need, now.
I listened to the San Diego speech, the best yet. I love that its all stream of consciousness not off a teleprompter.
Trump can speak off the cuff for over an hour and not bore the audience. He took on the Trump University Judge, and the court system. He picked apart the witnesses and explained the evidence or lack thereof. Fascinating.
The only thing that is bothering me is wooing Ryan. Ryan just screwed the families of 9/11 with Chuck Schumer. They inserted language that won’t allow the 9/11 families to sue the Saudis. Who does Chuck and Ryan think is their employer? We citizen of USA pay their salary. But I guess the Saudi bribes are so big they have sold out their souls.
Wow, they actually waste ink quoting this corrupt dweeb buying the politicians who are selling out America. And the guy is an idiot. First, actually primaries continue on - and there is still California, even if redundant now, all important for the general.
Second, and more important, as this guy and his corrupt little anti-American outfit gets crushed under the Trump Caterpillar bulldozer, he will discover that Trump is not running for titular head of anything. Trump intends to be in charge, and one of Trump's jobs is to flatten corrupt crony capitalists like this cockroach, whining like the mouse that roared because his strategy to sell out America backfired and the canyon floor is rushing up quickly with the Trump anvil about to land on his head once he hits bottom.
1 Trump support is a high floor low ceiling and he’ll never get over 20% of the vote
2 Trump support is a high floor low ceiling and he’ll never get over 30% of the vote
3 Trump support is a high floor low ceiling and he’ll never get over 40% of the vote
4 Trump can’t get enough he nomination, the party will never allow it
5 Trump can’t get the nomination, he’s not a conservative
6 Trump can’t get the nomination, his negatives are too high
7 Trump can’t get the nomination, he can’t win in a contested convention
8 Trump got the nomination, but his campaign is falling apart
That’s just a brief summary. There are a lot more reasons for Trump’s failure.
Trump is sailing along. Its Hillary who has all the problems, but the NYT doesn’t want to write about or investigate her countless scandals.
Yes. He is ‘failing’ all the way to his Inaugural Oath of Office. :0)
Liberals are idiots.
Poor thing needs a size larger underwear. I feel her pain.
The idiots in Washington will be writing more stories between now and November about how Trump is doomed...
They don’t get it.
Hillary has organization and look at her campaign. She is losing ground everyday because of her own unique ability to lie over and over and over.
So true.....but they never...NEVER.....EVER, ever, ever give up and throw in the towel. It is amazing to see their blind, oblivious indifference to being confronted with truth, logic, or cognitive reason. It is pure instinctual emotion on their part which is driven by a darkened soul, IMO.
Hard night at the bar, huh girl......looks like you got rode hard last night. Hair of the Dog?
