A federal judge on Thursday ordered that the videotape of Hillary Clintons former chief of staff giving a deposition later this week be sealed so it cant be used in political attacks against the former secretary of state and likely Democratic presidential nominee.
Judge Emmett G. Sullivan said the transcript will be made public, so the public will know what Cheryl Mills says. He said it was unnecessary to have the video released.
He extended that order to all of the depositions being taken in the open-records case, which also applies to Mrs. Clintons closest personal aide, Huma Abedin.
Neither Ms. Mills nor Ms. Abedin cooperated with the State Departments own internal probe, which concluded that they helped Mrs. Clinton shield her email system from public disclosure laws.

Will Katie Couric be transcribing the video?
The transcript is still very useful, though not quite as good as the video, but Trump’s team can make a video with a still pic of her and Hillary while displaying their words on the screen. Maybe wrap it up with a nice dog bark by Hillary at the end.
I like the dog bark part! :)
....You have the right to an attorney...if you can’t afford one, one will be appointed for you. Anything you say can be used against you in a Court of Law...
A video isn’t necessary for damning evidence when there is a transcript.
On what basis? Read the article and the only one I could identify is to protect Hillary Clinton politically. Didn’t know that was legitimate grounds for a court ruling. Apparently it is now.
How do we know the transcript matches the video if we can’t see the video? I put NOTHING past the hacks in our Judicial system and I hope those ‘tapes’ are locked up good.
So, who asked the court to seal it? Obviously the Clinton campaign knows the video would hurt. hee hee I hope Trump uses the transcript tonight.
Does Miss Cheryl...sound like she just emerged from the hood?
Of course, and as much as the libs have already ruled by acclimation, I’m surprised that Madam President isn’t covered by executive privilege.
Judicial Watch lawyers are doing these depositions, I think we can be assured they will be accurate.
FINE - use a stand-in in commercials to recite key portions of it, then.
Amazing ... if the deposition was favorable to Hillary would that have NOT sealed it? IT IS A FACT ... if it is a BAD FACT for Clinton, then SO WHAT! Why shouldn’t it be used politically ... that’s what this is all about. Really Disgusting.
Super! The judge flipped Hillary the bird. The transcripts will be released.

I wish the Taiwanese news people could do one of their animations!

Stupid judge.
