No one is the nominee, until so declared at the official proceedings of the convention. Stalin's minions haven't counted the votes yet!!!

Rafael Cruz from Canada said the same thing over and over, that Trump will not be the nominee. So this is sweet revenge.

The convention is pomp and ceremony for the party celebration. The actual work is done in party-insider meetings 7-10 days before the convention--that is where the skullduggery takes place, the results then revealed in a choreographed presentation.

“The DNC isnt going to deep six their two top candidates at the last minute and insert a guy that didnt even want to run.”
Bernie has thrown a monkey wrench into that plan.
With Bernie being so close in the EARNED delegate count (non-super-delegates) tossing him aside in favor of someone that didn’t even run would produce chaos.

Its really remarkable....
We didn’t have to wait two weeks for NJ to make it official.
As Blitzer said, Trump is for all practical intents and purposes the GOP nominee.
Although that won’t officially happen until the convention in July.

“No one is getting to 1237. I’m not getting to 1,237 before the convention, but neither is Donald Trump.”
And yet, Mr 563 still thinks he is relevant. Absolutely no excuse for all to get behind him now.

Trump is not the nominee--not yet--not until that fat lady sings at the convention. The numbers look good from the public vantage point; but, the Trump delegates have yet to be challenged. What remain of the original Trump delegates (combined with any alternates), the seating will proceed as that critical first vote. Then we will discover whom is the true nominee.

CNN estimate has Trump with 1237.
AP and others list him with 1238.
