"Last night, I had a subscriber email me a 27-minute video done by Dr. Lance Wallnau, a pastor from Keller, Texas that explained the concept of common grace and how Mr. Trump is the perfect vehicle for that common grace to flow across this nation. It clicked. It absolutely clicked."

>>Let’s pray we don’t get another Lincoln/Davis/Civil War.
Agreed!
On that, we are in accord, sir.
He’s a worse Freshman Senator than Obama was! All Cruz cares about is himself and how much power and money he can get. Sadly, for him, he has ruined his own paltry political career and deservedly so.
PING
PING
That’s weak. Like Ted.
You know what a “lie” is, don’t you? The things hat come out of Hillary’s mouth? Falsehoods?
I assumed you would supply material misstatements of fact that Trump made, that he made with knowledge of their falsity, which he intended people to rely on and to their detriment.
And you dole out Bible verses.
Are we ever going to see that greasy snakehandler Felito shamble off into the sunset?
Cruz was an awful candidate. Hard to believe some on FR could listen to his ultra-phoney speaking style and still want him to win.
Yes, and after viewing this video, I wondered if the point this pastor was making might give them a different perspective and perhaps help them to consider supporting DJT.
“Trump was felt to be an answer to our prayers “
I felt that at the very start when he announced his candidacy. Even back in the 80’s I felt Donald had something wasn’t sure what it was. Believe me for the 8 years of Obama, I had been praying so hard to God to send us a true patriot President to help restore our nation. Looks as if my prayers have been answered.
Louis Berkhof: [Common grace] curbs the destructive power of sin, maintains in a measure the moral order of the universe, thus making an orderly life possible, distributes in varying degrees gifts and talents among men, promotes the development of science and art, and showers untold blessings upon the children of men...
I think Dr. Wallnau is well off course in his understanding of "Common Grace". Common Grace is what keeps us all from torturing each other to death right now as if we were all already in hell.
God withdrew just a little of His "common grace" at Antietam/Sharpsburg.
Matthew 5
43 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.
44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
The fact that God works all things to the good is no reason to support any specific candidate. God used Herod to fulfill His Messianic prophesy about the sons of Bethlehem:
Matthew 2:18
In Rama was there a voice heard, lamentation, and weeping, and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children, and would not be comforted, because they are not.
It's a reason to tremble at God's sovereignty not to vote for self-justifying tyrants. I believe that God will also use Trump (and Clinton for that matter) for good but I hope it's the kind that brings us all, including Trump, Clinton, Sander et al., to rapid repentance not crushing judgement. A tiny remnant of Israel was blessed by Cyrus but Cyrus, according to Herodotus, plagued by perpetual war, came to a brutal end himself.
I'll watch more tomorrow. Thanks and God Bless!
Thank you so much for posting this!
I watched it from beginning to end. Several things resonated with me. I won’t go into them because they’re between me and God and what resonates with someone else is between them and God.
Every Christian should watch it not just Cruz supporters. And every single Cruz hater should watch it.
Still being rude ..?? how quaint.
Luke 8:19
And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good, save one, that is, God.
The Bible is the best that I'll ever have to offer. It is the Gospel of my salvation. Nothing else compares to it.
Romans 1:16
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
Isaiah 40:8
The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.
It is remembered when Romney ran (and lost) my sister and I had lunch on election day discussing the day’s news ELECTION. Shared with her that it was in God’s hands. Whatever might be. All that I prayed for was to see our Nation once again in line upholding our Constitution as our Founding Fathers intended. When Trump actually entered into the race...the Independence Day celebrations were indeed a day to celebrate. With the blessing we had been given, it was felt that we might just make it as a nation once again.
I looked into a window of Trump’s soul during one of the debates, when Carson missed his cue to come on the stage and Trump stood with Carson in solidarity as other candidates skipped by. Totally unrehearsed and real.
Praise God! I don't think our generation could endure that agony. My ancestors were not here, but the grueling pain of that war is still felt everywhere in America.
Psalm 106:1
Praise ye the Lord. O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

“I opposed Trump, among other reasons, because he spoke falsely, with reckless abandon.”
If you opposed Trump for speaking falsely, then whom did you support? Certainly not Cruz. His lies were stunning.
according to another FR post this evening - it seemed to say Ted played his winning to lose right so he doesn’t have to shake all those hands etc on the campaign trail, here:
“and he no longer has to travel the country shaking countless hands, eating terrible food, mangling easy sports references, threatening hecklers with a good spanking, and enduring sharp mockery from Trump, his supporters, and late-night comedians.” http://freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/3433980/posts#comment
