Donald Trump moved closer to clinching the Republican presidential nomination Tuesday by winning the Washington primary.
With 68% of the vote in, Trump had 76% support, with the rest going to former rivals who have since departed the GOP contest.

I had to spend less time on FR after this thread and all the fake conservatives puffing up Cruz.
Why do you care what the fake conservatives think about the article? If you understood one tiny bit what the article was about you wouldn’t.
Good news!
Oh taking a break from the antiFree-Republic start-up site, spreading disinformation are you? FAKE!! I got your number and you are a con job of the highest order. Have you made your donation to Free-Republic or are you just free-loading?
Still can’t answer the questions huh? Poor you.
The answer is that Trump won the Washington state primary. Have you donated to Free Republic? Answer that question. I have answered yours over and over and over. You just do not like the answers... Got quite an entitled mind about yourself.
People out west see that there was an attempt to rig this election.
It’s a wrap for Trump. Trump may have won 1,500 delegates by June 7th. He’s within 20 something delegates of 1,237 as of tonight. The last I saw of Cruz he was playing Marco Polo in a Mexican pool. ;-)
They’re still “Cruz Delegates” as that article reports them to be. Note I say “as that article reports them to be”. If you understood one lick of the article you would understand I am taking issue with how it is reporting this info.
Why WA stopped counting votes after 70%?
And Killary JFK, Jr. !!!
I have read your posting history, I am gifted with recognizing the art of the con... and you are a Cruz supporter through and through. Trump won the Washington state primary... That means the 'voters' choice, NOT Cruz's version of a smaller government, selected delegates to rule over US. AND you did not answer my question...
And, I don’t mind answering whether I have donated or not. This freepathon I have not. I do not recall if I donated at the last one or not. I do not donate to each one. I have previously been a dollar a day donator some years and some years not. I have been to 3 or 4 freeps and organized the Florida convention held in Orlando in 2009. What’s your point?
Sorry, you are WRONG. The delegates are already elected. 40 of 41 are Cruz supporters. Regardless, they are required to vote for Trump at the convention. Assuming the rules are not changed significantly, and there’s no proof to lead anyone to believe they will be, 40 of 41 Cruz supporters as Washington state delegates to the convention means NOTHING for Trump’s nomination. But, you clearly did not know and do not understand this. And instead of figuring it out by doing a little reading for yourself you are accusing me of spreading false information, when in fact it is you who are.
As it is Written one cannot 'serve' two masters. Go back over to that 'new' anti-Free Republic site you serve.
Argh, you misled me!
So Ted's smaller government show, got 'elected' delegates that have to vote Trump on the first go round... before the people spoke... And you have NO problem with the Hillry type campaign Ted Cruz has been building since the day he took the office of Senator from Texas???? And some try and whitewash this as 'conservatism"... HA!!
I have no master other than God.
You really are clueless. Keep talking so more people can see it. You have no idea about what, how and why it happened the way it did in WA and want to keep busting my chops because you’re wrong.
My message to the die-hard Cruzers: It’s time to get with a winner.
