Last week was pretty bad for Clinton: Not only did Hillary Clinton get trounced in Oregon and barely carry Kentucky, a state she won in 2008 by 36 points, but in signs of how bitter feelings have become among Democrats: Bernie Sanders supporters went berserk at the Nevada State Convention, and the Vermont senator endorsed Democratic National Committee chair Debbie Wasserman Schultzs primary opponent in Florida; made demands for seats on the platform committee and a big role in deciding its leadership; and secured four permits for massive demonstrations in Philadelphia when Democrats assemble there July 25.
But Trumps almost could not have been better: Not only did Donald Trump prevail in Oregon with 67 percent on Tuesday, but his list of 11 potential Supreme Court picks was well-received and helped highlight one of the principal differences between the parties. He aced a largely uneventful interview with Megyn Kelly by displaying a humble and restrained demeanor; he signed a joint fundraising agreement with the Republican National Committee that will go a long way toward assuring the necessary funds for the GOPs ground game; and he named his convention manager, Paul Manafort, as his campaign chairman.

Rove, you magnificent bastard!
Just wanted to try it on for size 12 years later.
Rove trying to be relevant. I dont want to see his pig face
I’m enjoying watching him grovel for attention.
His cheese-paring, 51-49 dissections of voting precincts are history. He’s lost more than he’s won and principles are alien to him.
Was glad to see Rove recognize Trump’s successes and expect and hope for more.
I noticed a number of people here are no fans of Rove, but I think he know more than people think he does. And in any case, I rather see him supporting Trump, than being against him.
No mention of her legal problems as the FBI investigation wraps up. I wonder if he knows there will be no indictment.
Desperately seeking relevance.
Sanders has no chance of winning.
Rover pee’d on the carpet, now he’s trying to be a good dog.
Rove, thank you for your many years of service.
Now go away.
His Supreme Court list bombed. Not a single Harvard graduate on it. Probably none of them developed in the womb while listening to Bach fugues. /s
Works only when you are sticking pins in your patented Rove voodoo doll. It’s called chatty Karl.
Man, if Hugh Hewitt repeats this it will mean Hillary wins in a landslide!!
Rove is positioning himself to rake in some cash by grabbing onto Trump’s coat tails.
Looks like Trump only needs 61 more and there are 363 available. He should end up with a buffer that will make him "unpledged-delegate-proof".
Trump had 2 Yuge rallies in WA state last month. From what I’ve read, Cruz supporters stacked the caucuses that sent reps to the Pubbie state convention here last week; and that’s why Cruz got so many delegates. I don’t think that necessarily has a bearing on the voters across the state. Plus, as I understand it, the delegates have to support the candidate the voters choose on the initial vote at the national convention (as is the same with many other states). I think Mr. T will do well here, but fingers crossed and prayers up.
That's the way I understand it too - looks like a number in the GOPe are still trying to give the finger to the voters and throw the election by placing Cruz despite what the People want.
Just like those who are talking about trying to free up all the delegates at the convention so they can vote any which way even on the first ballot.
I doubt they will go that far because they have to understand that the backlash will be catastrophic for the GOP/GOPe if they follow through.
Here's hoping Trump cleans up with the Washington voters today - one more nail in the duplicitous GOPe's coffin.
Goes to show how the egos of those who have made a living thwarting their "constituents" have overridden their common sense - a huge compulsion for term limits vs. letting the entrenched continue their treachery to stay entrenched.
