Is Trump going to meet with any Christian “leaders” too ???
First reaction was this was a mistake.
After a bit of thinking...probably a good idea.
Since Cruz is crying in Mexico, someone needs to take the lead in unifying the Republicans.
We’ll see if they fully endorse Trump, or what their reaction will be.
It sounds like a no brainer to me, if the choice is Hillary or Trump. Hillary has got to be way too liberal for these people of faith. The only issue would be, how strongly would they endorse Trump, or would they come away with no real endorsement in the presidential election.
In the southern primaries, Cruz preached and proselytized and assiduously courted evangelicals....expecting evangelicals to boost him into a front-runner.
Never happened......b/c they all voted for Trump.
Evangelicals want nothing more than to be able to practice their faith in peace. So when Trump said he was going to take care of Christian-hating Muslims.....evangelicals went all in for Trump.
Hopefully they’ll have a list of Hilary’s faith & values. Then they can go through the list items one-by-one and check off if Trump is better than Hilary. At this point those are the two realistic choices if picking the best president is their goal.
Trump probably loses to Hilary when it comes to faking the “correct” accent when speaking to a black church for those who value the accent. Other than that I’d bet Trump beats her on every issue. I’d also understand if some of them think divorce is worse than a fake marriage for power & money.
I am less worried about Trump and Christian values as I am interested in his being devoted to advancing and preserving what makes the US great.
This nation is hanging on by a thread as the most inept and vile POTUS concludes his reign of destruction. Hillary, if elected, would surely drive the last nail in the coffin.

Do the testers just dictate “You either believe as we do or you fail”?
The only person that can test their own faith is themselves.

Did these 500 preacher vet Obama, and reverend Wright, before the elections? Or even Bush, Clinton, etc?

What a terrible waste of time and energy!!! Mr. Trump has already won the evangelical vote and should not have to prove himself any further!! He has acquitted himself and ought not have to kowtow to these leaders!!!
If they need any more reason to choose between Trump and the wayward democrats/Hillary, they are the ones who desperately need to do some soul searching. Don’t subject Mr. Trump to this indignity!!
I hope they behave like true Christians and they understand their role as spiritual leaders. Accept what is at this time in his spiritual journey and Lead Trump to Christ.
What Would Jesus Do? That, I believe, is their only role.
Trump will comply because he wants to reassure them.
But Trump will always know and remember Pastor Jeffress, Dr. Falwell, Phyllis Schlafly, numerous Black Evangelical pastors, Ben Carson, Jeff Sessions.....
....went out on a limb for him in the very beginning and helped give him credence.
IMO he owes NOTHING to these Johnny come latelys.... and I know that sounds harsh.....
....but where was their support when he needed them!
He is a good man and he has humbled himself already.
And he’s willing to humble himself some more!

June 21st meeting with Trump, what day are they meeting with her “tighness” or do they not want to come that close to evil...if they don’t schedule a date with her then this is just a sham. And they have to ask her the SAME questions.
Let’s see one of these 500 Evangelical leaders move a mountain! Who are they to TEST anyone? Only the Lord is qualified to test or judge anyone.
