Donald Trump has now grown his lead over Hillary Clinton in Rasmussen Reports first weekly White House Watch survey.
Trump earns 42% support to Clintons 37% when Likely U.S. Voters are asked whom they would vote for if the presidential election were held today.

You understand it well but the strategy for this happening are being done by different people and for more lawful reasons.
First time I can remember a Republican candidate being ahead in the polls at this point, they are usually at least 10 to 15 points behind the communist party, commonly known as Democrats
You’re right, but we’re dealing with Democrats, and Hillary is a prime example of what they are.
It does seem like events are validating everything Trump says and warns us about. He has a tailwind of Obama failures behind him. Just the opposite for Hillary.
I have seen the one where the women are wearing T-shirts with Trump's face and they are Lip Syncing to his words taken out of context. They didn't make me mad like I suppose they should have; they made me laugh. And they didn't make me laugh because I thought they were ineffective; they are just funny in a stupid sort of way. What would be even funnier would be to have a bunch of men wearing T-Shirts with Hillary's face Lip Syncing to her words. I would love to see Hillary's words coming out of Mark Levin for instance. She is always yelling and he is always yelling and there voices are very similar.
It’s coming.... The big switcheroo. Clinton comes down with health issue or is indicted. Bernie feels the bern with some hot, young millennials in a seedy hotel and suddenly dies. And for the grand finale- the still grieving, Joe Biden rides into the convention on a white horse and is crowned RAT nominee on the first ballot. The ol Torricelli, if you will.
Many, many Cruz supporters have already said it wither Cruz or Trump...Now that Cruz is gone, they will go with Trump...
This is NOWHERE close to 2012...This is NOT Romney running, you know...
Maybe you, as a Cruz supporter, will stay home and give Hillary another vote, but I doubt most will....
“Trump/Cruz”
Not a chance in hell of that, for several reasons, chief among them being the fact that Ted’s eligibility to hold the office is clouded, at best.
The Dems will take it all the way to the Supreme Court if Cruz is on the ticket. They’ll win that case, too.

Cruz eligibility is the least of the reasons. That he is a nutball bonded to screwball Glenn Beck and a tool of the nevertrump crowd are better reasons.
So do I...My guess is all Trump supporters know someone who has switched from Cruz to Trump after Cruz left...
I have a question for you...I looked back at your posting history and just 11 days ago you were pushing hard for a Trump/Palin ticket...Now you are saying Trump can’t win without Cruz...
My question: Who is it going to be next week?????
And Donald Trump will have more material than he'll ever need on each of them ...
“Realistically the party has no one else they can run. Thats the only reason Hillary is there at allif they couldve supplanted her with a younger, fresher face, they wouldnt have hesitated to do so.”
It’s very, very hard for either party to hold the White House for more than two terms. Even harder when the incumbent president has been as polarizing a figure as Obama’s been.
I think the Dem party insiders understood from the outset, that the White House would go back to the Republicans this year. It’s why their slate of candidates was so gawdawful this time around. Why waste a potentially good candidate on a race they’re going to lose anyway?
The 2016 Dem primary has nothing to do with winning the race. It’s about engineering a safe exit from public life for the Clintons.
BTW, thanks for cleaning up my typo...*sigh* the older I get, the more.......Oh well...:o)
In more ways than one, Hillary is working her way into a box that she can’t get out of.
3rd Obama term?, Nope. A commie to the left of Sanders?, Nope. Her own agenda?, Nope. Status Quo?, Nope. Jail?, Hopefully.
Wasn’t Trump supposed to help Cankles get elected? /s
How many times did we hear, “Trump can’t beat Hillary!”?
Long way to go yet but I am hopeful.
Vote Trump 2016
“The identities now have conflicting interests, and Trump is peeling off the most available folks.”
The key tactic. I’ve been waiting for a GOP candidate to do this since Reagan.
