The New York Times' front-page exposé of Donald Trump's comments and alleged behavior toward women has brought new scrutiny in recent days, but one powerful woman is standing up for him.
Speaking both "in the capacity as a daughter and... as an executive who's worked alongside of him" for over a decade, Ivanka Trump defended her father, calling the latest accusations "disturbing," reports "CBS This Morning" co-host Norah O'Donnell.
Ivanka Trump dismissed the charges, claiming that facts had been created to "reinforce" a "strong thesis" and that the facts would eventually "speak for themselves."

Ivanka for VP. Make Washington run on time.
I think one of Trump’s motivations for running for President is to set up his kids for a future political career; even if Trump doesn’t win the Presidency, he is putting them in a position where down the road they can run. I think Ivanka has tremendous potential.
I saw this segment with Ivanka. They didn’t show one word that would defend the allegations against Trump that the NY Times made. They simply said the NY Times stands by their report.
I KNOW everyone is sick of me saying this for YEARS, but until we are off our butts, in the streets in front of every ‘NEWS’ affiliate in every city protesting and giving out REAL news, and boycotting the sponsors and telling them why, nothing changes. You will see president Hillary Clinton.
Any ditz stupid enough to judge Trump based on offering a woman a bathing suit at a pool party (she had forgotten hers) is NOT someone we want in the Republican Party in the first place. And that goes double for any woman working for the New Yokum Times.
Besides, Rowanne was working as a bikini model at the time, and was urged to go to the party by her agent to help promote herself. She had 2 shoots that day, and another one scheduled for the next day and almost didn't go... but the agent urged her to go to help her career.
Also, the fact that she changed into the suit in a private bathroom is unusual. I've worked with countless models, and despite my always offering them a private place to change, they rarely use that... they normally just change right there where we're shooting... that's quite the norm.
You need to read something other than the New York Times. Are you a Democrat? Why would you form such a strong opinion based on a NYT untrue hit piece? Are you aware that multiple women they interviewed have spoken out how their comments were distorted?
“All they’ve got is Donald suggesting a girl put on a bathing suit. “
... at a pool party
You are so gracious. I went back to re-read your comment. I read it wrong! Mea culpa.
:)
IMHO - The New York Times is attempting to destroy Trump NOT based on laws he's broken ( like Bill and Hillary could be taken on...) but on standards of political correctness... Standards no one has voted on... standards conceived in darkness.
If you seek the removal of freedom from an opponent simply because they have offended you, you have crossed the line to stand alongside tyrants who imprison, torture and kill with exactly the same justification." J.K. Rowling
They never mention it was a pool party and the reason he offered her a suit was because she arrived without one!! It is a stupid made up non-story!!
Trump was gracious.....helping her out to have some fun in the pool.
And yet that is all they have left to resort to.
I got the idea from the other posts that she was there to promote herself as a bikini model. She had some previous bookings and was in a hurry and forgot the bikini. So he lent her a suit so she could hang out and look good, hoping for some future work.
By all accounts, he was being very gracious, and he seems to have a history and habit of being very gracious.
No, all they have is Trump ASKING a bathing suit model if she would like to put on a bathing suit. BFD.
BTTT!!
