Trump now has more than twice as many delegates as Cruz.
Yeah, most people don’t understand, I managed to work my way up to management.
I understand where you’re coming from, believe me. I used to have a ‘high status’ white collar job years ago. For various reasons, I left that job and eventually wound up a few years later working in the restaurant field. Now when I see people who knew me back then and tell them where I work now, I’m more embarrassed for them than for myself because I get this overwhelming look of pity from them - lol. Funny thing is, I really like what I do now, even though it pays less than my old job.
Thank a Clinton for that once in a lifetime thrill. ;-)
Seriously though, I just got home and am reading through the thread, catching up. With all the lead changes of hotly contested Friday night, your comment made me laugh. The pure innocence of realizing exactly what a lot of us are doing just hit the irony bone rather acutely. Hope as I keep reading that Bernie wins. I can't believe I'm saying it either, but there it is.
Google results:
Oregon with 75% reporting
Trump with 17, Cruz with 3, Kasich with 3
Total
Trump 1160 delegates. Needs 77 of 361 in remaining primaries.
[Delegate counts could change as more Oregon precint results are published.]
They said the same thing in the Obama elections, mainly because of the black vote. Didn’t pan out then, either.
Trump’s GA win was not as big as it should be, but I think that was a reflection of the widespread conservative vote diffused among Cruz and Rubes.
Also, total GA GOP vote in 16 was over 300,000 more than in 12. Newt had 52% (vs Trump’s 38%) but Newt was a GA favorite son.
Also, GA was down on the Dem primary side by 250,000 since 08.
Did anything ever get settled with the Kentucky count?
Ouch ... a hilarious ouch, but ouch nonetheless.
Bwahahaha! Look! It’s the Renege Party!!!
Did they NOT even focus test this name and logo??? The subtext is hysterical! You can’t make this stuff up.
All this talk of ‘disruptions’ and “protests’ at the R and D conventions makes me wonder why cities vie to get the conventions in the first place ... and it’s REALLY competitive! A couple thousand delegates/alt delegates/media, etc. just can’t bring in that much revenue to offset the costs. And I imagine that would be even moreso the case for the D convention whose attendees tend to be less generous with their $$$.
Hey you! So good to see you my friend - Trump is doing great!
GO TRUMP!
:)....went to bed last night. Good to see ya!
Thanks for your very interesting comments re Georgia. OK, my mind is more at rest now... :-)
and please, no pouting
I was responding to one posters comments not the results in other states.
Will give you one pass.
;)
