As I said, predicting a VP choice is nearly impossible until the last minute because the situation is fluid. A candidate might need some help in a key state, based on current polling. Or the opponent might open up a new line of attack that needs a defense. A lot can change in a few weeks.
But as of today, and according to the Master Persuader filter, I put the odds at 90% than Trump picks Brown as his running mate.

“Mr. Trump should choose a candidate from the south ...”
Trump doesn’t need to pick anyone from the South; he’s going to win every state in the South anyway. (Florida is not a “Southern” state, as anyone who has lived or spent much time there knows.)
Mr. Trump must pick a woman as a VP.
He will not win with a white male who is a northerner, a mid-westerner, or a California surfer.
There are many qualified women and they do not have to be Hispanic or Black or young or old. The woman should not be someone that is seen as a female Donald Trump. There should be some contrast between their styles.
The VP pick needs/must/should be a woman if Mr. Trump expects to win in November.
51% of the voters should not be ignored! Especially since they will reliably go to vote on November 8th.
I don’t know much about Ted Yoho, but a QUICK look at the issues he favors, he seems to be pretty conservative.
Trump / Yoho ticket is hard to forget.
Does anyone know about this guy?
Trump has favorable polls according to Sean Hannity.
Funded- His political contributions to dems don’t add up to a can of beans.
Small potatoes. So what- cost of doing business in NYC.
States can effectively defund abortions, curtail certain procedures, and close abortion centers. Presidents have done nothing about abortions.
Maybe he can convince Apple to make more products here, why not let him try as opposed to exporting more jobs.
Get used to saying President Trump and mull over the best possible VP candidates.
Duncan Hunter
Marsha Blackburn
Scott Walker
Rick Scott
............
Perry won’t be the pick. Texas will be in the GOP column
regardless of the vp nominee come Nov.
I’m skeptical. Brown underscores everything about Trump that raises concern.
“Brown is a Mitt Romney liberal. Why would he pick him?”
Yeah. I don’t buy it.
Those are horrible choices
“Trump has favorable polls according to Sean Hannity.”
What does that have to do with Newt’s alleged likability? Do you mean that Trump has some “favorable” internal polling on Newt? If so, what was the sampling design for the poll? Did it include any women?
Not my 1st choice - Perry - I am just OK with him
Those aren’t that bad
Your turn for good choices.
Duncan Hunter is great- His father has a great legacy that he has built upon:
Secure Fence Act (but if you’re open border-globalist daddy, then-no)
Dubai Ports stopped! (but if you’re globalist-islam-okay, then -no)
Opposing women in combat & Spec-Ops (but if you’re for feminizing military, then-no)
Ron Swanson.
Good point - two high IQ Alphas...
We need to get a conservative to balance the old white guy Trump, who would have been a lock if he ran as a democrat, the progressive he is.
Alan West, Susan Martinez, Ted Cruz.
Trump picks a liberal...he does what all past rinos have done to the base in energy. The moral conservatives stay home. Yes, you actually need them to win.
Just for once I would like to see a smart republican get elected....I doubt that will be tone-deaf Trump. He is too egotistical to look at history and the party, just like the rinos. From the beginning I predicted he would beat Cruz and a liberal running mate for Trump because that is Trump's true colors if you actually listen to his words.
Biggest Rope-a-Dope in history. I hope to God I am wrong. Not holding my breath.
West, just ok, Martinez, showed up late if at all, Cruz is more progressive than the self identified progressives. Cruz is not nor will he ever be a 'natural born' US citizen... Cruz is NOT eligible to hold the office of president. But I suspect the 'original intent' is NOT a necessity in your world view.
>>Im starting to think Scott is a better analyst than a prognosticator.
I agree. His analysis of the Master Persuader has been spot on. But he does offer a disclaimer at the end of his prediction. Two, actually.
How does the constitution define a "Natural Born Citizen?"
