The reason is that Trump has built his business over decades and as such he has built an inner circle that has 100% of his attention. It is a small circle and the rest are outsiders with no influence at all.

Ben Carson is nothing more than a red herring when it comes to choosing the vp. Everyone is looking to get someone to leak the list but the way Trump operates is by doing business with people he has known very closely for decades. That is where the real work occurs. Ben Carson is a distraction, red meat for the media and the traitors.
So the question is what individual has Trump known for decades who is vp material and who has worked closely with Trump in the inner circle? That will be Trump's pick.
Have a hunch the VP pick will be Brewer.

I love it. Should have realized Dr. Carson would serve as a fountain of misinformation and throw people off. Remember he recently said that Trump was even considering a democrat running mate. Trump always several steps ahead of the rest of us!!

Trump and Newt have been friends and mutual sounding boards for one another for a long time. And the Trumps and Gingrichs have belonged to a club in DC for 6+ years. FWIW.

I can appreciate your opinion and attempt at dialogue, but the search and selection is Trump’s to make, and Trump’s alone- and there is a vast roster of candidates to choose from, when you are a Donald Trump.
I sent my suggestion to the Trump Organization- former US Senator Peter G. Fitzgerald, IL., GOP.
Whoever Trump picks, will be golden! Heads will explode, and it will be sheer genius.
I believe someone posted that only 5 VPs went on to the office of POTUS.
Additionally, Trump- may only serve 4 years... as he is going to work for the people of the United States, every waking hour, and will get more done in these 4 years than, many Presidents have gotten done in 8 years, so the plan for the VP selection, may be more than the average pick might be. THIS- will play into who the pick is, mark my humble words.

That would fit. This vp committee headed by Carson is a head fake designed to fool the media and Trump’s enemies.
Whatever Dr. Carson says is delivered with a face of calm sincerity, and not a trace of sarcasm or even venom.
Fitzgerald- could, in an irony of ironies... deliver Illinois and it’s 20 Electoral Votes to Trump.
