A transgender woman claims she was escorted out of a public North Carolina restroom by security but surveillance video shows it might not have happened.
Alexis Adams told WTVD last week that she was humiliated beyond belief and bystanders were stunned as security escorted her out of the Transit Center Thursday.
I couldnt think. I couldnt speak. I was speechless, she said. It was embarrassing. I was outed in front of everybody.
The Durham woman said she wanted to make a statement by going into a womans restroom and snapping a selfie in the mirror.
She said a custodian confronted her when she came out of the stall and she was escorted out.
The city of Durham owns the Transit Center and recently released surveillance footage of the alleged incident after the original story was aired.
Adams can be seen in the video entering the public bathroom alone. About four minutes later, a custodian enters. Shortly later, Adams can be seen leaving the restroom by herself.
The video does not show whether or not the custodian said anything to Adams.
WTVD showed Adams the video footage and she is sticking by her story. You had to be there to witness it, she said.
Adams was born a male and transitioned to a female five years ago.
Gov. Pat McCrory signed House Bill 2, called the Public Facilities Privacy & Security Act, more than a month ago after it was passed by the North Carolina Senate.
The bill makes transgender people use the bathrooms that correspond to the gender on their birth certification.
HE!!!
Well, of course, why else would anyone go into a restroom?
Well he made a statement, the statement is “Look at me, I’m an idiot, I vote for Hil-Liary.
NONE of these freaking liberal “victimhood incidents” EVER actually happen. It’s like these people hear the constant media stream telling them they are being horribly discriminated against, and when it doesn’t happen to them, they feel so left out they have to make it up.
Just insane.
HE was dressed up as a woman and then pulled a hoax ...
What does that mean? If he is transgender, then he still has his male parts.
So has the Penis in a Dress been arrested?
It looks like the Penis in a Dress broke the law and it is on video.
Police asking for someone to call if they support her side of the story? WTF is that but picking a side? Why not ask for witnesses to come forward that were there that can just say what they saw?
File this in the category of fake hate-crimes.
If this guy had really wanted to make a scene, he would have waited until a woman entered the restroom, made it clear to her that he was a tranny in the women’s restroom, and then screamed about discrimination when she reacted as a woman would.
For a liberal activist trying to make a point, this guy really didn’t go about it very well.
How did she know it was a bathroom.
Maybe it was identifying as a kitchen that day.
I’ll never call one of these sad, tragic people “she” (or he or whateverthehell).
They know they will not be prosecuted, so they go for it. Can’t lose. Might even win a big award.
People who go around making a statement are trying to cover over their extreme shame about themselves.
If you are not “passable” inside the bathroom, you are not “passable” outside the bathroon. You are not fooling anybody.
Use the men’s room.
Unless the selfie was of her ****ing in the sink, how could the custodian have known anything about her equipment?
She wouldn't be the first woman who shaves.
Pronouns are starting to really piss me off. If a person is born a “he” then that’s what they should be identified as. Who can tell if this person was a he or a she?
Too confusing.
Just read that as "didn't happen" from the news media that will excuse her "fake but accurate" account because it "raises awareness".
It was not a "transgender WOMAN", it was a transvestite MAN.
And its to bad he was not escorted out by security, he should have been.
Sorry, but when an article calls a man with a penis and a Y chromosome "she" and "her", you know it's time to stop reading, because nothing but B.S. is going to follow.
