Donald J. Trump had barely met Rowanne Brewer Lane when he asked her to change out of her clothes.
..."He asked me if I had a swimsuit with me. I said no. I hadnt intended to swim. He took me into a room and opened drawers and asked me to put on a swimsuit."
....Donald Trump and women: The words evoke a familiar cascade of casual insults, hurled from the safe distance of a Twitter account, a radio show or a campaign podium. This is the public treatment of some women by Mr. Trump, the presumptive Republican nominee for president: degrading, impersonal, performed. That must be a pretty picture, you dropping to your knees, he told a female contestant on The Celebrity Apprentice. Rosie ODonnell, he said, had a fat, ugly face. A lawyer who needed to pump milk for a newborn? Disgusting, he said.
But the 1990 episode at Mar-a-Lago that Ms. Brewer Lane described was different: a debasing face-to-face encounter between Mr. Trump and a young woman he hardly knew. This is the private treatment of some women by Mr. Trump, the up-close and more intimate encounters.

Newt did a number on the New York Times this morning on Fox.
Looks like to me that the WaPo and the NYT are trying to prove to us that they are all irrelevant this election season
this nothing burger story and the fake PR agent story? This is the best they can do?
The NY Times doesn’t want to go there. I don’t think Hillary and her team wants to reactivate the Bimbo Eruptions Unit again because surely Trump will fire back with Billy’s many dalliances.
The man was hosting a POOL PARTY, with, by the “victim's” account there were 70 or so in attendance, and he asks one of his guests to put on a suit to go swimming!? This is degradation!? It's degrading to admire her beauty in the suit? I suppose if he said it in a lecherous fashion maybe but give me a break. How many times have I taken my wife to my parents house and they asked us if we want to go swimming and when we said we didn't have a suit they offered one to us? This is debauchery?!
Give me a break. This is the best teams of “reporters” can come up with? LOL
“The NYTimes doesn’t want to go there.”
Yes, that’s what I was thinking. Does the NYTimes really want to promote a discussion of this issue, with Bill’s and Hillary’s past lurking in the background?
You summed it up perfectly.
Now that Donald Trump is the near-certain GOP nominee, the NY Times aims at coloring his image as demeaning to women, even as you said, he’s been in the spotlight for decades.
I know you guys like this stuff, but nobody cares about it and conservatives' obsession with it made Clinton more, not less, popular.
Everybody with any interest in the Sink Emperor's sex life is either voting for Trump, voting third party, or staying home cutting the yellow fringe off of American flags. To the extent that this becomes an issue, I expect that it will help elect Hillary Clinton.
Nina Burleigh spoke for Hillary's favorite demographic when she said, I would be happy to give him a blowjob just to thank him for keeping abortion legal. I think American women should be lining up with their Presidential kneepads on to show their gratitude for keeping the theocracy off our backs.
Keeping these people home is one of the keys to beating Hillary. Getting them riled up works the other way.
“Direct from the National Enquirer archives to your ears. Who cares except got-ya Press.DTs life was for years fodder for every trash magazine known to man. He never pretended to be a phony politician selling God and country. Bring it because I believe this actually enhances him before the general population. They will see the Press as petulant and attacking a real man in the world earning his keep by his hard work not a political phony leaching off the masses pretending to be a paragon of virtue.”
indeed, vis-a-vis crooked Hilary and Bill:
No bitten, swollen, bruised lips? No killed cats? No slit tires? No goon squads sent to silence women? Pretty boring account of the private life of a billionaire bachelor...
yes confirming everything we know that the NYT is the National Enquirer for the corrupt progressive leftwing establishment.
A model goes per invitation to a Donald Trump pool party and doesn’t take a bathing suit???
OKAAAAAY.....................
Made my comment there, don’t know if it will see the light of day....
“Sorry, what Bill did was a thousand times worse and Hillary is still the worst candidate. Nice try, though.”
BS! New York Times? Rag crap.
Eff you MICHAEL BARBARO and MEGAN TWOHEY - where’s your damn outrage about Bill Clinton’s CRIMES. RAPE. Taking advantage of a teenager - Monica - then telling the world Monica and her mother had mental problems... Where’s your effing outrage about that?
Im sure Donald held a gun to her head and forced her on the date and to wear a swimsuit. How many drinks did she have before-hand, and what sort of signals was she sending?
Sounds like he was a gentleman, unlike Bubba who wanted them out of their clothes, period.
Exactly...she probably had one of those infamous signs around her neck.
How does Hillary behave with women in private?
Trump has good taste in women. He will make American women great again.
Sounds like Trump is more straightlaced than the model thought he was. She may have thought his parties were a bit wilder than they actually were, and "forgetting" a bathing suit may have been the norm at parties she had been to before, like those at the Clinton household, or Hefner's place.
“NY Times was unable to interview Juanita Broaddrick for what, now, 20 years?”
And Dolly Kyle and the list goes on and on and on.
"OK for the record! I am all over the New York Times and the Daily Mail articles just out this morning. I did not depict Donald Trump as a womanizer in my interviews, in fact I said quite the opposite! These articles will be disputed very soon on a public platform! More to come! Thx RBL~"
How about his carpet munching old lady?
