Democrats don’t know how to run against Trump
Washington Post ^ | May 14, 2016 | Ed Rogers

Well, it is game on. This will be an election unlike any other in the modern era. Two wildly flawed candidates for president will try to convince voters that the other is the one more unfit for the office. Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump both have their baggage, but along with his problems, Trump does have a couple of things going for him.

Trump’s first big problem is obvious: He’s wildly unpopular. Specifically, he’s unpopular with two critical voter groups, women and Hispanics. He needs to earn support from these groups, but all the evidence suggests it will be very difficult for him to do so.

All they got to do is dig out LBJ’s playbook on how he handled the Kennedy boys. Shoot Hitlery knows how already, Fosterising and Browning are in her playbook. She ain’t from Chicago for nothing.

"Hillary isn't giving them a lot of positive issues to vote on except she has a vagina..."

The thought very nearly ruins vaginas for me.

——Yeah, Trump’s the worst Republican candidate, except for those sixteen others——

Reading Comprehension issue?

I never said he was the worst republican candidate, just not the most popular person in the US...as the OP claimed...

IMHO, the majority of Americans are still generally patriotic conservative leaning Americans. If not it is already over.

Popularity isn’t important to a point; Trump understands some realities the establishment republicans don’t,,,any publicity, even bad, is not bad in politics. Not fighting back IS bad in politics. (W Bush failed there. ). And politics IS entertainment for many Americans and the winner has to frame himself/herself as the hero of the story.

Why the liberals are in an absolute panic over Trump is that Trump is using their own Alinskey tactics right back at them in their face, and they don’t like it! He is actually fighting back, which is new for conservatives on the defensive for the last 30 years in the face of Alinskey tactics, starting with their Dan Quale victory.

I think the lesson is that politics today is blood sport, and Americans want to see blood and they want to be represented by a WINNER, and,to our advantage, most Americans are patriotic, which works in our favor.

As such, Trump is not only an equalizing force between ideologies; He represents a disallusioned majority, and potentially a landslide style movement.

Popcorn stocks will soar.

I didn’t know either, so I searched YouTube for Clinton Honduras.

IIRC, the honduran supreme court ruled that President Zelaya had violated the constitution by trying to overturn term limits for the president of Honduras. The military stepped in, removed Zelaya from power and then deported him and turned the presidency over to the next in line according to the Honduran constitution. I believe the Honduran Supreme Court also ruled that the military needed to remove Zelaya.

I also remember the US Library of Congress coming to the conclusion that actually everything that happened was completely legal and the correct procedure under the Honduran Constitution with the exception of deporting the president.

So I am uncertain what the underlying complaint is about Hillary’s involvement in Honduras. It appears that the complaint is Hillary was attempting to help Honduras hold up its constitution.

Unfortunately, I have no reason to believe she will uphold ours.

What Trump does so well is if you attack me I will knock you into the next solar system. See the disappearing Mittens. See low energy boy Jebbie. He will not back down.
Here’s another point, why is Putin the most powerful man in the world? Because he won’t back down. America wants a leader, will run through walls even if Mexico builds and pays for them. Nobody will run through a paperbag for Hillary.

Keep going with the “ wildly unpopular with women and Hispanics” meme, WaPo

The mom porn book "Fifty Shades of Grey" features a Trump-like main character. It sold 125 million copies.

That’s an interesting view you share with Clinton.

The rest of the world disagreed, and called it what it was, which was a US-backed military coup.

That’s right; the perpetual smear machine which is already up and running, and will continue through Election Day, indicates that the Democrats know EXACTLY how to run against Trump...

That’s an interesting view you share with Clinton.

According to wikipedia, the State Department condemned the removal of Zelaya from office.

The rest of the world disagreed, and called it what it was, which was a US-backed military coup.

According to the same link, the US government condemned it and started shutting down aid. The Law Library of Congress released an opinion stating that the removal of Zelaya was in accordance with the Honduran Constitution (with the exception of deporting Zelaya). You can find the opinion here. Also, don't go down this path of telling me what my opinions should be based on what the rest of the world thinks; this is a dangerous path.

“the State Department condemned the removal of Zelaya from office”

Well, that’s enough for me: it must have been the right thing to do.
