Speaker Paul Ryan spoke with reporters after his first meeting with Donald Trump on Thursday morning...
Speaker Paul Ryan gushes over Trump: His personality, I thought he had a very good personality. Hes a very warm and genuine person. I met him like 30 seconds in 2012. So we really dont know each other. And we started to get to know each other. So, I actually had a very pleasant exchange with him...

What Trump needs to do is sit down with these gopes and promise them everything they want. After the election, go back on his word to them. That’s the way they operate.
“Follow the money
Ryan is being funded for his re election by________?
My bet its Rooney/Bush financiers.”
Worse than THAT
Ryan is pro..
Open borders
TPP
Amnesty
H-1B visas
Pro Muslim
He couldn’t be worse !
He has to go!
It’s most likely that Ryan will keep his seat, he has strong support in his district and those are the only opinions that count.
But it matters not with respect to Trump, because he will come in line. Part of the negotiating process is to give the other side an “out” and starting today, Trump has done that. Trump will never cave on the key points that his candidacy is built on. Read Art of the Deal if you doubt that.
Make this a thread of its own so we can more easily find and encourage others to research.

I wouldn’t trust Ryan as far as the front door
not if he loses the upcoming primary
It won’t matter since Ryan will never make it out of the primaries....
He will be Cantor’d......
“We all had better care what Ryan and other DC Republicans think.
Come November, we will need every vote. To get every vote, we will need the support of every influencer. Ryan may not be big with the Hard Core Right, but he brings votes from the MOR, and we need those votes to ensure Hillary goes down in flames!
As Benjamin Franklin said: We must, indeed, all hang together or, most assuredly, we shall all hang separately.”
How do we make THEM (in Congress) care what we think?! Aren’t we supposed to be the drivers?
Not a challenge. Your point is valid and this is not a criticism. It’s frustration. The importance of unity is understood that’s why Trump is voicing it now.
But how do we get the DC pigs at the trough to get nervous enough to listen to us?
Trump needs to watch out for the knife in Ryan’s other hand behind Trump’s back. Trump knows how to deal with weasels.
Backstabber of the voters, which is worse.
Not very good at a podium . . . oookay . . .
this attitude is the reason gems win. they just have a greater ability to unify for “the greater good” . Reps are a finicky voter
Paul Ryan is anything but face value.
I believe FIRING these folks would give the investors confidence in the new stock offering. Keeping the "old" board members who sold us out... sends the NEW stockholders the wrong message. That goes for any other penny annie "interlopers" who hope to "influence" the process for their own political gains.
If they don't kiss the political ring... get em outta here. They are dragging down the brand.
This doesn’t sound like gushing, more like stalling. He’s trying to negotiate
he’s not very good at projecting what he wants to project.
he is clearly stalling.
his partners in political collusion are plotting.
unless he points it in the right direction and punctually, he will be paying the price.
OAN/Gravis Poll: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=34Y7cA8w6Hk
Does this mean Ryan is now supporting Trump for president, or is he just “gushing”, then reaches a big “BUT” he still can’t support him for president.
I hope it’s the former.
