Cruz slams media for ‘manipulating’ voters
The Hill ^ | May 10, 2016 | Ben Kamisar

Ted Cruz on Tuesday accused the media of propping up its preferred candidates, saying the news industry helped fuel presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s rise.

"This election will be studied for the role of the media, and in particular network executives," Cruz said on Glenn Beck's radio program, his first public interview since ending his presidential campaign last week.

"That has a dramatic impact on the polls, when every network becomes the super-PAC for the candidate that they want to win."

Cruz attacked media execs for “manipulating and trying to deceive the voters” and said Trump's rise was "heavily fueled by the media executives who have run him 24/7."

Bret Baier offered him an hour townhall and he turned it down. Greta has blasted him on Facebook for lying about excluding him when she offered him many opportunities to come on her show.

Something’s really wrong with this guy.

“...as it only serves to make him look like a sore loser.”

Look like? No, he IS a sore looser who refuses to accept the fact that the voters were turned off by his nasty rhetoric and machinations with respect to delegates. In other words, he’s just another POS pseudo-smart lawyer who thinks he can use “the law” to “enforce” his will on the voters. Guess what Lyin’Ted, the nomination process doesn’t take place in a courtroom.

So Cruz bragging about his crack team of psychologists analyzing what they buy from data miners wasn't intended to "manipulate" anyone, it was only so Ted would know what he should say in order to influence voters whether he believed it or not.

gotcha

Perhaps Anderson could offer Cruz an hour debate with those Indiana Trump supporters who managed to wipe the floor with him. I’d enjoy seeing that!

I’m pretty sure any of the candidates could have called in and asked to get on air. The media would have been glad to try to trip you up like they did Trump. Difference is, your handlers probably wouldn’t go for it. Hillary can call into Hannity’s show and I bet you Sean would put her on. She doesn’t. That’s her decision. Trump did, that was his decision.

Not only that, Cruz doesn’t seem to be able to relate to regular folk Americans...He has always been such a “practiced” politician that what he says doesn’t resonate with people.

Remember how Robert Byrd used to speak when on the floor??? With eloquent hand gestures and phrases from back in the ‘30’s and ‘40’3???

Cruz was kinda the same way...

Trump speaks TO the people in the people’s language...

He’ll work out of the grief eventually and realize that he still has a life to lead and things to do.

Every candidate dealt with the same media.

All the other candidates and the media thought that media attention for Trump would lead to his demise. They were all wrong, including Cruz.

Sore loser Cruz can’t help himself. The media hated Trump but Trump kept going on their shows, he kept calling in. Cruz instead played it safe. The idea that the media helped Trump purposefully is just not based on reality. Cruz decided to run a sanctimonious campaign ala Glenn Beck. If not for Trump Cruz would’ve failed even faster.

The tragedy of Ted Cruz, who had talent as a spokesman, is that he decided to run with Glen Beck--and apparently is still running with Glen Beck, who has a major delusional streak to which Cruz appears blind--and thus ignores the realities of American politics, and the very clear interests of the American people.

It is possible that Ted's father--who apparently has an overly dramatic opinion of certain theological premises, has prepared Ted to be susceptible to the forked tongue of Glen Beck; in which case, as sad as that would be, his own father has contributed to his downfall. But to me, this is just one more echo of the tragedy of Adam, led by Eve's susceptibility to a much earlier forked tongue inducement to over-reach.

It is a recurring pattern. One on which every Leftist movement has to some degree relied upon in luring the susceptible to their fall. That someone as intelligent as Cruz has been so easily taken in should serve as a warning to all of us.

Hey Ted, the people rejected your message ... it did not resonate with them ... you had your shot ... you lost ... go back to the Senate and do your job ... until the great people of Texas throw your arse out for lying to them.
