It is interesting to observe the malevolent marplots, i.e., the establishment elitists, engage in what is by definition invidious discrimination against Donald Trump and all who support him.
Elitists such as Mitt Romney, George Will, William Kristol, various politicos and the shadowy camorra of Republican saboteurs openly proclaim their intentions to undermine the will of the people.
For a group who boasts itself as knowing what the will of the people is, its interesting that understanding escapes these so-called Republicans pursuant to the fact that voters have made it clear they want Donald Trump.
As I have said many times, this election isnt about Donald Trump as such it is about the right of We the People to choose the candidate of our choice. These elitists are politically androgynous. They presume to singularly know what is best for us. In their minds, We the People know less than nothing. Therein they err. We know who we want, and We the People are in full revolt. Not only do we no longer trust the elitists, but we hold them in the lowest of contempt.

they fear being put on meat hooks?
The last time the perfumed aristocracy was this disconnected from the great unwashed masses their heads ended up being disconnected form the torsos.
Nice
pop corn already popped, lightly salted and buttered
Yep,we need a visit from Madame Guillotine!
This election cycle is definitely going to be interesting and entertaining....
The aristocracy is still in denial about what is happening.
Like knarf said, popcorn at the ready.
Our Elites in Washington should connect the dots here before they self-immolate.
Despite growing, rabid dissatisfaction with the way our elected "Representatives" [sic!] ignore and abuse their constituents, we are told that, "If you don't like the way things are going, make the changes you want at the Ballot Box."
The only problem with this suggestion is that these same Elites are now demonstrating that our votes at the Ballot Box are just as meaningless to them as is our rampant fury at their appalling, treasonous apathy toward that which we voters express.
What they would do very well to consider, is that if we become convinced that even our votes no longer count, there remain only pitchforks, torches, rope, and the fact that we outnumber them by close to a million to one as the resolution to this staffing matter.
If they take away our vote, we will hang them from every tree in D.C., and then dance on their rotting carcasses.
To the GOP Eliteyou should choose your reply carefully.
I went to the homepage of my local TV news station and they’re gleefully reporting a poll that shows Trump is less popular than head lice. First off, it insults my intelligence that the news organization is trying to manipulate the political process by framing the political contest this way. Secondly, I’m sad that the political dialogue has become so debased. Thirdly, I’m picturing a group of buttheads at the station laughing with glee over pizza as they congratulate each other for this nasty official post to hurt the Republican race. It confirms my decision not to watch local news. I’ve not watched for over a month but I still have to check the homepage for road closure info, this :-) being Pittsburgh PA where orange cones rule in the spring and summer. So I’m ticked at being exposed to what is in effect liberals j***ing off online.
Their greatest fear is that Trump has created a lasting anti-elitist backlash movement that is going to far outlive Trump.
That desperation is evident in their voices.
“What elitists fear most about Trump”
WORK !!!
We call them the GOP elites, Dems call them Progressives. Same cat underneath.
I don’t buy the “they believe they know what’s best for us” angle. They know what’s best for THEM, and have a 40 or 50 year hold on the political process to serve that end. is it coming to a halt with Trump? I seriously doubt it. Oligarchies are not ended by elections.
Exactly. While the Bushes, Romney, Ryan, and the neocon talking heads who support them may not like Trump's personality and some of his proposed policies, that doesn't explain their hysteria about him. What they really resent is the fact that we rather than they got to select the GOP nominee for President this time around. For the first time in decades, we had an election rather than a coronation, and the party elites can't stand it.
Bingo! A++
“....is it coming to a halt with Trump? I seriously doubt it. Oligarchies are not ended by elections.”......
Wolfie, this country, and its continuous down grading didn’t get where it sets overnight, it has been years in the making and will take many such years to recover. Trump, should we be fortunate enough to get him elected, will be a start but we must remember, he has four, possibly 8 years to get it turned around. More importantly, it will take many more people like Trump to keep the ship on the course he selects. At may age (78) I will not see the outcome but can only hope that future generations will continue on a recovery course to “Make America Great Again”.
The GOP establishment can’t just come out and say “We, not you voters out there should be the ones picking the nominee!” That would alienate the people they’ve been duping for votes and money all of these years. So they go about with the lying mantra that their objections to Trump are on account of deeply held ideological principles and convictions, i.e. Trump isn’t a pure enough conservative. I wonder, where were these “deeply held ideological convictions” when the party nominated Bush, Dole, Bush II, McCain, and Romney?
