Looks like Cruz may try to pull something at the convention to try to get the nomination away from Trump.
Two important points: if your state is yet to have its primary, be sure to get out and vote for Trump. He needs to get the 1237 delegates to get the nomination and the first ballot and forestall any dirty tricks against him.
If you are a delegate to the convention, vote for Trump and stay with him, nominating anyone else at this point will guarantee a President Hillary Clinton.

Let Cruz have the platform. Who cares.
Every four years the far right wing of the party gets control of the platform, and every four years the day after the convention ends everybody forgets what’s in it.

Sneaky little pr***.
Maybe the plan is to take Ryan's place.
What a tangled web we weave.............

Oh, give it a rest. The race is over. Trump is the nominee. This is just about maintaining conservative principles in the platform. I know that many of you would vote for Trump even if he ran on Bernie Sanders' platform, but a few of us still care about conservatism.

I was happy with either Cruz or Trump. Then Beck entered the picture and it appears to me BECK made Cruz a nut case like he is.

I do not have a problem with this. Every effort should be made to push/keep Trump to the right.

Trump will have his own team running the convention. Cruz can pound sand.

I have said it before Cruz and supporters need to stand down. They lost.

Screw the platform. But what happens when they control the Rules?

“discuss what we can do at the convention to protect against liberal changes to our platform, and how we can right the wrongs in the rules from 2012!”
If that is all they want to do, then fine.
I would just keep a close watch on him and his crew.

Let me guess:
New rule. The nominee can only be someone who suspended their campaign on May 3rd. No other delegates shall be counted.
To: Innovative
In an email sent Sunday to pro-Cruz convention delegates, a top aide to the Texas senator wrote that it was “still possible to advance a conservative agenda at the convention.”
1. The platform means, essentially, nothing. No candidate is bound by it, so it is just a “here’s where we stand” statement.
2. If Cruz & Co. REALLY want to “advance a conservative agenda at the convention” then I’d suggest getting together with the nominee, face-to-face, and discussing a few issues that you consider most important. Further, I’d suggest that it’d help a LOT if Cruz indicated that he was supporting Trump. Otherwise, all that this amounts to is a bunch of sour grapes.

The platform has become basically a wish list to placate the base that the GOPe ignores once the election is over.
