Senator Ted Cruz’s supporters are mounting an effort to seize control of the Republican platform and the rules governing the party’s July convention, the first indication that Mr. Cruz will not simply hand his delegates over to Donald J. Trump.
In an email sent Sunday to pro-Cruz convention delegates, a top aide to the Texas senator wrote that it was “still possible to advance a conservative agenda at the convention.”
“To do that, it is imperative that we fill the Rules and Platform Committees with strong conservative voices like yours,” wrote Ken Cuccinelli, who was the campaign’s former delegate wrangler and a former attorney general of Virginia. “That means you need to come to the national convention and support others in coming, too!”
Mr. Cruz is planning a Monday evening conference call where, as Mr. Cuccinelli writes, Mr. Cruz’s former officials plan to “discuss what we can do at the convention to protect against liberal changes to our platform, and how we can right the wrongs in the rules from 2012!”

Two important points: if your state is yet to have its primary, be sure to get out and vote for Trump. He needs to get the 1237 delegates to get the nomination and the first ballot and forestall any dirty tricks against him.
If you are a delegate to the convention, vote for Trump and stay with him, nominating anyone else at this point will guarantee a President Hillary Clinton.
Let Cruz have the platform. Who cares.
Every four years the far right wing of the party gets control of the platform, and every four years the day after the convention ends everybody forgets what’s in it.
Maybe the plan is to take Ryan's place.

I was happy with either Cruz or Trump. Then Beck entered the picture and it appears to me BECK made Cruz a nut case like he is.

I do not have a problem with this. Every effort should be made to push/keep Trump to the right.
This is getting sad to watch. These folks need to suck it up. It’s over.
Cruz was or pretended to be a conservative, because he thought that will get him elected. But he sold out to the GOPe, when he thought that would get him elected. Cruz only cares about himself getting power. That’s it.
He cannot be trusted.
Trump will have his own team running the convention. Cruz can pound sand.
I have said it before Cruz and supporters need to stand down. They lost.

If that is all they want to do, then fine.
I would just keep a close watch on him and his crew.
