Top allies break with Ryan over Trump
Politico ^ | Friday May 6, 2015 | Rachael Bade

Reps. Lynn Westmoreland of Georgia and Dennis Ross of Florida — who, as House whips, help Republican leaders muster support to pass legislation — told POLITICO in interviews on Friday that they disagreed with Ryan’s decision to break with Trump in a bombshell interview a day earlier. Both lawmakers said they believe their leader is in denial about how Republican voters feel about the real-estate tycoon.

“I honestly don’t understand what Paul’s thinking — I don’t get it,” said Westmoreland, who is retiring after this year. “I try not to give advice to the speaker, but I think it just really brought about, in my opinion, even more confusion to this thing.”

Why don’t Ryan , Romney , Kristol ,Levin , Beck , McCain, Rove, Bushes ,and the rest of the GOPe, just join the DIMs and be done with it ...that’s where their hearts lie ...or if they go third party, it could be called the Neo-Con party ... it could be headed up by Bloomberg and would get very few votes nationally ...

...

I live in SC please add Lindsey Graham to your list.

Ryan just fired himself. Thats good , because Ryan could not work with Trump, he doesn;t have the capacity to make America Great Again.Ryan is part of the PROBLEM.

“I honestly don’t understand what Paul’s thinking — I don’t get it,” said Westmoreland.

This guy is in politics and doesn’t understand why????? He must be daft.

EVERYONE UNDERSTANDS WHY! Ryan is the Speaker of the House and he wants to hold onto his job. To do so, he must reflect the wishes of other members of the house. It’s a team after all and he is the quarterback. The rewards of being a political quarterback are enormous: Personal wealth, special privileges, money under the table, political donations by special interests paying for special favors, and a wealth of other “bennies” that come with the position.

For a handicapped individual like Ryan (he was born extremely ugly and with the demeanor of an asshole) the lure of all of this makes him think he is KING OF AMERICA.

Got Trump Chisel?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chisel

A little chunk of RINO here, a little chunk of RINO there... chip chip chip.

There’s a Republic in that slab of bureaucratic cement just waiting to get out!

Lincoln broke with Jefferson Davis over secession. Maybe Ryan is thinking in those terms.

Virtually no one gets in without bringing with them sufficient baggage to be black mailed and threatened with.

Most have probably committed a felony to get where they are.

Because it’s a credit card based system, you’ll probably have to give your real postal address, but junk mail is easy to throw in the recycle box.

Just go buy a VISA gift card. You'll spend another 5 bucks, but you can give them completely bogus information.

If it's good enough for Obama (who used it to wash millions in foreign money), it's good enough for everyone else.

They don’t care about the Republican electorate. To them, the Republican Party is a retainer, and Republican voters are schmucks, to be manipulated into contributing and voting for the people the Bush overlords select for them. When the Republican Party ceases to perform this function, the Bush family is done with it.

Ryan has gotten the message, that’s all. And he knows he’s second in line for the Presidency if some accident befalls Trump and his Veep.

Trump should announce Huckabee’s name for VP.

You nailed it! Of course this corrupt system is strung together by the carrots of bribes and the sticks of exposure. The only way to stop the incentives for criminals to become our “representatives is to make it nearly impossible for them to benefit from influence-peddling.
If that means they have to take vows of poverty like priests but that are strictly enforced electronically by the NSA total surveillance grid....so be it.

I’m laughing my butt off that Palin is now backing Ryan’s opponent Paul Nehlen. Ryan has really screwed the pooch on this one.

We will find out if Ryan has gotten the message. Ryan is already facing a tough primary challenge from Paul Nehlen (Nehlen is beating Ryan in a recent poll of Ryan’s district 48-42) and the possibility of being ousted from his Speaker job by pro-Trump GOP House members should this non-endorsement nonsense become prolonged.

Trump doesn’t need Ryan’s endorsement as much as Ryan needs Trump’s assurance he won’t work to get him removed as Speaker and won’t get involved in Ryan’s primary election (Nehlen has already endorsed Trump).
