You mean rejection by GOPe hack leadership...
Here’s a real TOUGHIE.
Who got the most votes this time around?
What? Rejection from the GOP establishment should be embraced as a badge of honor.
Trump neither needs their endorsement or support.
Nope. They find rejection from Trump.
Too be expected after Cruz’s farewell dump the file on Trump “press conference”. Cruz and the rest of the career politicans in the GOPe and their paid for chattering classes simply don’t want a unified party if that means following the Trump agenda.
The Republican Party is much bigger than just a handful of people. If this small group of people cannot get on-board with the GOP nominee chosen by the people, maybe it is time for them to step-down.
Unity on their terms means sure defeat in November.
Voters emphatically rejected them and their governance and Trump has to follow suit.
I don’t buy the premise of this article. That Trump wanted the imprimatur of the GOP elites and that he feels humiliated that they shun him.
Is this supposed to be a news article?
Under no terms will I vote for a single Republican candidate this, or any other cycle going forward. Trump will be the ONLY vote I cast this year for a Republican.
He means respected by the left because they can be counted on to cave to leftist positions.
What? The Booshes, Mittens and Ryan? Those establishment figures?
We can do without them. You all saw what happened to Jeb.
Why would he feel humiliated?
They were rejected by the party base.
Jeb, the establishment favorite, is gone.
Trump's "sin," in the case of most Republicans still not accepting him, is that he has had the courage to speak truth to the delusions of those intimidated by the "politically correct" mindset, evidenced by such sorry journalism as that of the New York Times.
So long as Donald stands fast, and continues to speak what is true to the pretentious advocates of a sham virtue, his following will grow--and will gradually include at least a sizeable portion of those now skulking & refusing to come on board. But none of the dissidents are worth compromising principle to win over. That really would be a mistake.
Thanks for posting this Uniparty spin.
GOPe is quickly pushing themselves into the abyss of irrelevancy. Good riddance to bad rubbish.
Vote Trump 2016
Trump cannot sell out his voters to make peace with the GOP establishment.
Either they come on board or he will run against Hillary without them.
Its that simple.
..... Looks like the fun is over and folks are picking up their toys and going home. However, This is where Trump should really begin to shine by displaying those incredible unifying, negotiational and motivational skills that he guarantees that he possesses.
Agreed!
