Trump's "sin," in the case of most Republicans still not accepting him, is that he has had the courage to speak truth to the delusions of those intimidated by the "politically correct" mindset, evidenced by such sorry journalism as that of the New York Times.
So long as Donald stands fast, and continues to speak what is true to the pretentious advocates of a sham virtue, his following will grow--and will gradually include at least a sizeable portion of those now skulking & refusing to come on board. But none of the dissidents are worth compromising principle to win over. That really would be a mistake.
Trump cannot sell out his voters to make peace with the GOP establishment.
Either they come on board or he will run against Hillary without them.
