Its not Trump theyre rejecting.
Its the people who voted for him.
As highbrow Republicans turn away from Trump by boycotting the convention or disavowing his candidacy it is the voters they are truly turning away from. And the Republican Party should remember that that is a two-way street.
And Trump voters should remember that they have the power in their hands.
In recent days, Mitt Romney and John McCain as well as both George Bushs -- have said they will not attend a Republican convention that nominates Donald Trump, and House Speaker Paul Ryan has said that hes not ready to support Trumps candidacy.
Which is fine.
Because Trump voters arent ready to support the Republican Party.
If the elites of the Republican Party will not heed the will of primary voters and the outcome of their own candidate-selection process, if the bosses will put their own judgment above the judgment of the people, then its time to cut those bosses loose.
Trump voters can do that by pledging to vote for just one Republican in November.
Go into the voting booth, vote for Trump for president, and walk out without casting a vote for any other candidate. If the GOP wants to go it alone, let it.
If Ryan cant support Trump, then Trump voters cant support Ryan. Under current circumstances, no Trump voter can in good conscience vote for a single Republican candidate for Congress. Doing so would empower the very man Speaker Ryan who spits in the face of Trump supporters.
So screw him.
Screw them all.
Patriotic Americans have repeatedly turned to and empowered the Republican Party, and not gotten a damn thing for it. Trump voters put Mitch McConnell in power and Trump voters put Paul Ryan in power and things only got worse.
We handed John Boehner the House of Representatives on a silver platter and the high point of his career was some gag video with Obama.
Every two years it becomes depressingly more clear that the Republican Partys lust for establishment security renders it no alternative to the anti-American progressive feces the Democrats are smearing across our flag and Constitution.
The desperation and anger are so high that weve chosen Donald Trump as our champion.
And now the frat boys say hes not good enough.
Well, the frat boys can feel the steel of our votes.
Unless the leaders of the Republican Party come around and accept the will of Republican caucus and primary voters, those Republican caucus and primary voters should abandon the party in November.
Vote for Trump, and walk away.
The dog is snarling at you. Kick it in the head to teach it some manners.
Paul Ryan is nobody unless Trump voters return his Republican majority to the House. Mitch McConnell is nobody unless Trump voters return his Republican majority to the Senate. The whole GOP establishment is nothing unless we keep freely giving it our votes.
But there is no point in paying the servant who doesnt serve you. There is no point in paying the servant who thinks he is your master. And if the Republican bosses keeping giving the finger to the candidate of the people, its time to kick those Republican bosses right square in the political crotch.
Paul Ryan can continue to lecture voters stupid enough to support someone he doesnt approve of for another eight months. Then he can hand the big hammer back to Nancy Pelosi.
Because as much as we hate her, we hate him more. She is a snake being true to her colors. And he isnt. The whole Republican Party isnt. They preach one way and govern another, and were tired of it.
The Trump voter is like Samson, blinded and mocked by the political bosses.
And unless things change, on Election Day, the Trump voter is going to push against the pillars of the pagan temple and bring it down in ruins upon the heads of the Republican establishment.
So the situation is simple. Paul Ryan and the rest of the Republican gods can either respect the voice of the primary voters.
Or they can kiss those voters goodbye on Election Day.
Because unless things change, the motto of the Trump voter will be: Vote for one Republican, Donald Trump. Let the rest of them fend for themselves.
No local Republicans, no state Republicans, no House Republicans, no Senate Republicans.
If you dont respect our vote in the primary, you wont have our vote in November.
Get comfortable with that, Mr. Speaker.
Paul Ryan isnt representing our district. Hes representing the big businesses and big banks that pour money into his campaign coffers. Its their agendas hes carrying forward with his votes in Congress not ours.
That would make a great local ad with the objective of "Cantoring" him. I hope someone in your area picks up on this.
I’m in California so the best that I can do is cheer him on.
Some Wisconsin freeper will have to tell us if he is getting his name out locally
For anyone that has a twitter account, you can tweet this article link directly to @SpeakerRyan by clicking the twitter icon at the end of the article.
The more people that communicate directly with these people the more effective we become.
Don’t confine your opinions solely to Free Republic, reply DIRECTLY to the ones that need to hear us.
Ryan and his cohorts (including McConnell and McCain are what fractured the Party as far as the People go - they want Trump to undo what they have done to screw their own pooches as a standard for their support?
Paul Ryan - you are the problem - don't ask Trump to take out your trash as you hold the fracture apart while asking him to heal them...
Trump's job is to continue to speak truth to the pretentious dolts, who have too long strutted as "experts" in fields in which they are manifestly incompetent; as he continues to allow no one & no collection of people to dissuade him from putting America First!
Let me suggest a better, more accurate term than "highbrow" for the type: "Dwiors" "Dolts With Illusions Of Relevance."
The functional intelligence of the type has nothing to do with their IQ or the height of their brows. But anyone who is too dysfunctional to realize that putting short term business interests or leftwing theory ahead of the survival of your nation or civilization is stupid, has clearly demonstrated their own functional stupidity.
I believe it is not until August until their primary. Trump needs to stump for this man. Wow, would that shake them up.
Lets keep those postcards flowing... to Paul Ryan (and our local reps and senators)... Every Monday until Ryan and all the others are ready to support Trump.
Its not over until Trump is actually the Republican nominee, not just the presumptive nominee. Everyone stay focused, and keep voting Trump in the remaining primaries. Keep focused until February 2017.

One day the lightbulb came on for me that GOP “conservatives” were playing the exact same game as the Democrats were to get and stay in power.
On the left, the “liberal” Democrats tell you they are going to tax the rich and have equality for women and have a living wage and everyone be in a union. Once they get into office, though, they hang out with the 1% elite and line their pockets.
On the right, the “conservative” Republicans say they are going to protect marriage, stop Obamacare, have a fiscally responsible government, and protect American jobs from illegal immigration. Once they get into office, however, they hang out with the wealthy lobbyists of the Chamber of Commerce and other big corporations and line their pockets.
But during election season, however, both parties will bring out their shiny things to scam their electorates into voting for them and giving them money.
It really sunk home when I starting get emails several months ago from the GOP national committee etc., saying they desperately needed money to stop Obama, stop Obamacare, etc. etc. etc. All I could think was, that’s why we put all you monkeys in there in the last two elections and you didn’t do a damn thing. How do you have the gall to come back now and ask for more money?
So screw the liberal Democrats. Screw the conservative Republicans. Just show me someone who will cut through the crap and try to get something done to save our country. Because we are on the edge of going under.
Thom Massie is a Patriot of the Highest Order.
I’ll have to see what’s happening in Texas before I make any definite voting plans, other than voting for Trump.
I was talking to a neighbor this morning, he said the exact same thing about Ryan that I did. I might go ahead later and get on Twitter and see of I can find Ryan and tell him what we think.
Why the hell is Ryan waiting for someone else to “unite the party” so he can jump on the bandwagon, rather than leading by example and HELPING do it himself? What a dumbass. He could ask Newt Gingrich how to do it...he’s been there. Ryan made a huge mistake, if he wants to see the party united, he should have said he supports Trump and said now let’s get to work. An outright endorsement wouldn’t be necessary, just say he supports Trump.
OK I just decided, I’m going to start it...
Trump/Gingrich. With Newt’s ability to get people to work together, and his knowledge of how DC works, that should be a good pair.
The Republican Party gave us 8 years of Obama. Can Trump do any worse? At least he doesn’t hate America.
Don’t reject the good Republicans in November.
There are too few conservative Republicans now: don’t punish the ones we have.
The correct approach is to purge the elitist Establishment in the primary. Party officials get elected in the primaries. Perhaps the Trump organization could run challengers in the 2016 primaries for the worst of the Establishment officials.
How do you turn away from someone you were never with?
