AND NOW... amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke... it is time for... that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-The-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, serving humanity simply by showing up, and he's not retiring until every American agrees with him - do NOT doubt him - with shrieks of joy at the mere mention of his name (that's Rush, for those in Rio Linda), the Mandarin of Talk Radio, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back - just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, all-concerned Maha-Rushie! America's anchorman, truth detector, and doctor of democracy. A real man, a living legend, a way of life. Commander-in-Chief of U.S. Operation Chaos. Chief Waga-Waga El Rushbo of the El Conservo Tribe. Chief of the Patriotism Police. Leader of the Conservative Movement. A Weapon of Mass Instruction. El Rushbo (a little Spanish lingo, there). He is the man who is running America (you know it and I know it). He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to do - host. Get ready to what you were born to do - listen. And post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread.
“Bernie won’t get the nomination, he’s too weak”
I disagree. THIS year, I think he is their best bet. The young people love him, given their abject ignorance of historical socialism.
Yet this brilliant campaign was unable to compensate for any curve balls thrown at them
It's just that a lot of us were hoping Rush would unify behind the winner and congratulate him. Getting Rush to stop being the wedge, and start being the unifier will help greatly in defeating whoever is the democrat nominee. It appears that Rush has either forgotten the real enemy, or is simply too emotionally involved to see what he's doing.
I find that a bit troubling.
LOL! Reaching for the chamomile tea right now...
Then I’ll go out and celebrate the fact that even the talking heads on Faux news last night said a revolution by the People occurred with the nomination of Trump.
I don’t think you’ve been listening to the same show today that I have been.
Meanwhile over on WRKO, Jeff Kuhner just gave a big shout out to FReepers! :-)

How cool is that??? Is he a local guy... going national....????
“I would expect an attempt at the convention to steal away the win from Trump”
I think that this is a certainty.
The GOPe are cornered rats and they will fight to the death.
Thanks for the summary of advertising guy’s idea. Seems plausible to me!
I agree with what you say about Bernie's popularity. My speculation was following the line that Bernie, not even a member of the DEM party, isn't connected to the routine international corruption that enriches the lords of the major parties. He doesn't have an "insider's power," just as Trump doesn't. The DEMs don't want Bernie as president, for the same reason they don't want Trump as president. It runs a very real risk of derailing the gravy train.
Thanks.
Wow. Not good for Mrs. Henry either.
Perhaps Carly Fiorini threaten to quit and she did not want to be crushed in California
I think that is unfortunately true.
I sometimes come here to see if Rush will ever get his sense of reality back, meaning will he start running against whoever the democrats run.
I listened to most of his first hour since 1992 (had the great fortune to be able to do that), and could no longer enjoy listening starting around the end of February. He was doing what he promised he wouldn't do, he was shilling for one candidate and trying to upend the front runner.
Why is your take so different than every one else's? It can't be two different shows.
Rush on the same side is Lindsey Graham
to add, in an unsolicited statement a few months ago, Cruz said he would “keep to the issues” with Hillary if he ran against her. What that likely means he would roll over like a dog because the Dems have much dirty stuff on Teddy.
Contrast Cruz’s compromising statement with this article now in Breaking News:
“Trump aide: Clinton hasn’t been ‘truly’ vetted before”

That was all I said needed to happen. Others were all saying he was doing the latter.
I wholly agree with your assessment. The difference between outsider Bernie and outsider Trump, however, is that Bernie is a relatively weak person. He was pushed aside by some BLM mouthbreathers with ease. He could easily be set up as a figurehead, and worked around.
All speculative of course, and I think Hillary would stop at nothing in a mutual assured destruction with her comrades if she is thwarted. I think that is the sole reason she is not yet charged. She was not alone in approving (for whatever reason or reasons) the Benghazi murders.
As a public opponent, I hope she is the one to go against Trump. Assuming Trump is not set aside by whatever means or mechanism. I’m glad he flies in his own plane.
I completely agree.
You have an interesting screen name and an interesting sign-up date.
Remember the good-old-days, when we were all so optimistic about Bush? At least I was.
