Reacting to Cruz's exit, Kasich tweeted his support saying the Senator "should be proud of his strong and disciplined campaign" and added that Texans were "lucky" to have him represent them.
Taking advantage of a narrow opportunity to garner financial support after Cruz ended his White House bid, Kasich's campaign also blasted out a fundraising email to supporters, soliciting donations as the only candidate who can "stop Trump and unify the party."
Kasich continues to defend his staying in the race, touting his electability as the only Republican candidate equipped to beat Hillary Clinton in the fall, and hopes his message of "hope" and "inclusion" resonates with Republican voters.

Katie Packer, the chair of the anti-Trump Our Principles PAC, said her group will continue to educate voters about Trump until he, or another candidate, wins the support of a majority of delegates to the convention.
Notably missing from her super PACs efforts: Ad buys in upcoming states.
Seriously, John, no you can’t.
Just a juvenile stunt designed to belittle Trump's orange color. Beck "in show" is full on stream of consciousness. If he thinks it, he does it. Crazy and nonsense, like a dream state.
Where is he getting the money to run?
Trump has swept the field. The fact that John didn't get the memo says more about his judgement and ability to face reality than anything else. He's now completely irrelevant to events going forward.
The president of Ohio is still in this ?!?
ROFL
Kasich is like that annoying fly that keeps buzzing around your food at a picnic.
Time for Mr. Trump to bring out the flyswatter.
Yeah, sure. We know how this ends. Kasich gets the nomination and starts acting above the fray. As a result, he treats Hillary with kid gloves and respect (much more respect than he treated Trump with). In return, Hillary calls him every name in the book.
After 3 months of this charade, Hillary wins in a landslide. Kasich goes back to OH, with his head held high. The MSM writes some puff pieces about him in gratitude for being a “good loser”.
He has fewer delegates than Rubio.
A new Ohio movement has started:

We didn’t elect you to chase windmills Kasich, get back her and eat ...
Has he picked his VP yet? I hear Carly is available.
Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed.
That’s why he’s losing. He’s more about the Party than the people. If the people want Trump, and he’s telling us, “No, no, we know what’s best,” then he deserves to lose.
Come home to the only place that gave you a successful primary victory. Ohio. Of course, it looks like the only reason you pulled off a victory in Ohio because you got the "favorite son" vote, nobody else took you seriously.
It looks like the contested convention you've been hanging in there for isn't gonna happen. There's no way for you to tiptoe around Trump and flank him at the convention.
There is no way you can win. Sorry if that hurts, John. You're a good guy, but at this time you aren't the right guy.
Cruz took the high road by bowing out gracefully. Show a little class, Governor, it's time for you to get out gracefully as well and let the party re-unite.
[I hear Carly is available.]
Annnnnd, she’s qualified because has had prior experience as VP...for a few days.
Kasich reminds me of Kevin Bacon, in his final scene in the movie Animal House, just before he is trampled by the crowd.
GaySick is holding his state hostage. In a close election, those electoral votes are needed for any GOP candidate to win.
The SOB should be running on the dem ticket, maybe Clintoon or her replacement, can tap him to be their VP. Or maybe better he and boehner can run as third party ticket, the A hole party. Only thing to stop that is they are both from oHIo. I guess he will have to settle for a run with Romney, a match made in loserville.
Nop...he’s more like a bothersome fly in an outhouse.
