Trump, Sanders lead in West Virginia (Trump leads 61% to 22% for Cruz)

PPP's new West Virginia poll finds it's likely to just keep Donald Trump's recent streak of dominant victories right on going. Trump leads in the state with 61% to 22% for Ted Cruz and 14% for John Kasich. Trump, with a 67/24 favorability rating, is the only candidate GOP voters in the state even like. Both Kasich (32/50) and Cruz (32/53) come in with negative favorability ratings.

Adding Carly Fiorina to the ticket has done little to help Cruz. Only 12% of voters say picking her as his running mate makes them more likely to vote for Cruz, compared to 31% who say it makes them less likely to vote for Cruz and 54% who say they just don't care one way or another. Fiorina's 40/32 favorability rating with Republican primary voters does at least make her more popular than Cruz himself.

Trump is winning every subgroup of the Republican electorate, but a few things stand out. He's getting 70% among the independents planning to vote in the GOP primary, to 20% for Cruz and just 9% for Kasich. Trump also has by far and away the most committed support- 87% of his voters say they will definitely cast their ballots for him next Tuesday, compared to only 67% of Cruz's voters and 45% of Kasich's voters who say the same about their candidates. The race is tighter among 'very conservative' voters, with Trump getting 51% to Cruz's 38% but among both moderates and 'somewhat conservative' voters, Trump's advantage is up over 50 points.

So I guess Rafael criticizing the faith of millions of Christians who vote for Trump instead of his son is ok in your book? That one you’ll just let slip under the rug? Listen if Ted and his dad don’t like the heat then get the bloody heck out of the kitchen. Leave it to the big boys not the christian poseurs.

That’s ok...there will be a democrat that crosses over and votes for Trump that will make up for your vote.

As opposed to they 70% or so who don’t like Cruz? Sorry you cannot have it both ways.

We are talking about Cruz here.

He routinely expects to have it both ways.

Kay-sick should drop out, according to Cruz, because Kay-sick can’t win.

Cruz can’t win. But no way he should drop out. Not according to Cruz.

So yes, when you are Cruz, you expect to have it both ways.

I have no idea at all whether he did or not. I was just saying that passing out pamphlets alongside Oswald as Trump claimed does not in any rational way equate to helping him assassinate JFK, as you (and some of press) have claimed without justification that he was saying.

Cruz has Trump right where he wants him.

Ten years from now Tead wakes up in a cold sweat.

I can win. I’m staying in! Oh! Oh. Never mind...

Trump will draw a larger coalition than any GOP candidate has ever done. He will get Reagan democrats, a much larger % of blacks and Hispanic’s and large % of conservatives and evangelicals. A coalition the GOP has never seen before. If you have not noticed, you have had your head in the sand.

You've misunderstood what I posted and your reply is therefore off target. Probably my failure to communicate. But thanks for trying.

-1 RINO-Conservative and +1 Crossover voter.
+1 RINO-Conservative and 0 Crossover voter.

1 Crossover voter means +1 for Trump, -1 for Hillary for a Diff of 2.

So in aggregate, it is better to give up a small %% of those RINO-Conservative voter for a small %% of crossover voters.

Thank you for doing business. Trump knows how to gamble.

Ahh, the old and tired imaginary reason for choosing to believe a lie, in order to perpetuate it, by calling it an implication.

You know very damn well that every word of Trump’s remark this morning on F&F was inquiry about the photo in Cuba.

What was it? Was it a photoshop? Did Cruz deny it? People want to know. Calling it ridiculous is NOT a denial.
