From the outset, and particularly since the ridiculous Never Trump campaign began, we have outlined the most damaging aspect to Senator Ted Cruzs presidential bid is his continued visibility. The reasoning is simple: the more people see and hear Cruz, the more the average electorate are turned off by Cruz. Hes just not a likeable man.
A CNN article today points out the internal polling within Indiana is following this consistent pattern:
Cruz allies and people close to the campaign describe a budding sense of gloom, with internal polls diving as Trump mounted even stronger than expected showings in his native northeast. In Indiana, which Cruz backers once believed they were favored to win after his strong defeat of Trump in Wisconsin, Cruzs numbers have fallen precipitously: Once leading, Cruz now trails in the state by eight to 10 points, according to a person who has seen the numbers, with Trump over the 40% mark. Cruzs campaign did not respond when asked about those figures.
Indiana is the absolute last chance for Senator Ted Cruz and the entire coalition behind the #NeverTrump movement. Like Florida in March, tens of millions are now being spent to psychologically target the larger electorate in Indiana with a constant barrage of negative attack ads.
Trump internals from Indiana as of today: Trump 51% Cruz 32% Kasich 13%

Cruz Campaign Cant Fill A Rally: An NBC news truck was parked outside of the center. There were also five marked police cars as well as a couple of fire department vehicles. There were some cars being used to block off a sidewalk on the side of the building, but other than that nothing else stood out

Hi John, I’m a hugh Trump supporter who has come to immensely dislike Sen. Cruz through the man’s own words and actions. It’s great to hear from Cruz folks and former Cruz supporters who say they will vote Trump in the general. We do need to unite.
Appreciate the reply FP. I’m not sure Trump would be so inclined as to have Cruz as VP at this point. Time will tell, but it appears public support for him is collapsing. Personally, I’d love to see Sen. Sessions be Trump’s VP. Since I believe immigration is the most important issue facing America at this time. FRegards...
In which case, you'd want Sessions to be running the Senate as Majority Leader, not stranded in the VP's office.
Well I’m talking about winning an election too. I believe the addition if Sessions to the ticket will go a long way towards uniting the party. Cruz is very unpopular on Capitol Hill. I think Sessions could help “ mend some fences” in the GOP. That would be better than Trump going third party, which is still possible, depending upon what the RNC might try to pull against Trump at the convention.
Cruz, Clintons, Bushes, Doles, Mitch and the Gang, McCain, Obamas, Kasich, G.Ford, Congress, Congressional Aides, Staff, State Dept., .....
...all never on the receiving end of their own rules and statutes.
Exempt
Agreed, the Fiorina choice never made any sense.
I laughed last night when I saw that Kelly has developed a slight
twitch in her neck and face, when she was discussing Trumps evolution in Indiana with the CEO of an anti Trump PAC, who was predicting an ignominious Trump defeat in Indiana.
The Cruzerinos are losing Indiana.
THE PEOPLE love The Donald.
This bothers the hell out of the One World progressive assassinative prigs.
Like those laid off after 31 years of employment with their job moved offshore(Eastern Europe).
Yep, just like those and hundreds of thousands more to come if something isn’t done to halt the planned obsolescence of a once proud and highly productive nation and people.
This week it’s all about Zika, last week it was all about Prince, and the week before I forget but they’re all diversions whether planned or not by our socialist media drones who are incapable or unwilling to investigate these financiers at the top.
For Ted Cruz, Indiana is Custer’s Last Stand.
“Gentlemen! Start Your Injuns!” ;-)
I’m with you on the civility bid. But I don’t think Trump supporters here have been any worse than Cruz supporters.
Could you explain what Cruz has said or done to make you immensely dislike him? If you’re here you’re conservative and obviously so is he. I dare say more so than the man you back. Just curious. I obviously don’t see him as the pariah some Trump supporters do.
On Fox News this morning, the female co-host said Cruz was way ahead in the latest poll. I sure hope she was looking at an unreliable poll.
Fox and Friends keep showing a poll that has Cruz up 45% to 29% for Trump.
You know what their agenda is when they refer to an absurd outlier poll that no one’s ever heard of. Fox has become downright shameful.
That sounds fishy to me and yes, that was the poll I heard her mention. If Cruz was able to pull out a win, we’d never hear the end of it.
I agree with you about Fox. Makes me ill.
For me it started in Iowa with Dr, Carson then spread to things he would blatantly lie about in the debates like Trumps ending the 2nd Amendment. His dirty dealings with former Bush people who came onto his campaign, his teaming up with Rubio in a debate to take out Trump, his blatant attempt to force a brokered convention now that he is mathematically eliminated. These actions may show someone who is determined and ambitious, but hardly Christian as he professes, which brings me to Glenn Beck. Total lack of judgment there on his part. The smarmy way he conducts himself is a complete red flag, i.e. attempting to use cartel when referring to DC and Trump while he is OWNED by Goldman Sachs and Lord knows who else.
Donald Trump isn’t perfect.. he’s a flawed human being. However, at this poi t in our nation’s history, he is what we need to strengthen both economically and militarily. No on owns him. He’s self funding. I proudly support him and will do what I can to aid his cause.
The Mike Downs poll is of registered voters. Thats meaningless for a REPUBLICAN primary. ALL the polls of republican likely voters show the Trump train rolling on!
That poll was registered voters, not Republican primary voters. Its meaningless propaganda!
