Indiana Gov. Mike Pence endorsed Ted Cruz Friday, just days before a primary that could make or break the Texas senator's chances of halting Donald Trump's march to the Republican presidential nomination.
But Pence was quick to praise Trump, too, and encouraged Hoosier voters to "make up their own minds."
"I'm not against anybody, but I will be voting for Ted Cruz in the Republican primary," Pence said in an interview with WIBC's Greg Garrison. He praised Cruz's "knowledge of the Constitution" and his willingness to "take on the leadership" of his own party.

“I hope you are manking serious plans to have Ted Cruz, his, father, Glenn Beck and Carly Fiorina campaigning with you in the fall”
Cruz will drop him like a rock. He didn’t get the endorsement he wanted and Crux is just like Rubio, once he has no use for you, you’re off speed dial.
This will have no impact. Not an endorsement.
Now I’m confused. I never heard Pence say “endorse”. I heard him say support and vote for. Am I wrong?
Endorse, support, it’s close. Like in horseshoes.

Seems like the Club for Growth shows up in almost everyone who has super packs; lobbists and special interest groups back them....
Could this be why Pence did what he did? He was told to???
Close only counts in horse shoes . . . and nuclear weapons.
What a hoot. You tell your parents you’ve gotten engaged and you’re bringing your fiancee home to met them, and when she gets there she tells your parents that you’re “just friends.”
El Rushboob was trying to sell this like it is a big deal.Watch how fast The Gov. gets on the Trump train when Trump locks up the delegate count.
“Could this be why Pence did what he did? He was told to???”
I think you nailed it!! Now it makes more sense. He was taking his time, way too long to have a good effect. Early voting started 4 weeks ago. Up until 3 days ago 65,000 people had already voted. Following your logic, Pence wanted to sit it out. Camp Cruz went screaming to CFG to put the pressure on him and it is an election year for him I believe.
Also most of the Kasich early voters could not have voted for Cruz. The 65,000 number will be higher by this weekend and Trump usually does well with those voters.
I also heard something else. The editor for a major newspaper in Indiana said that 35% of voters are Evangelical and that Trump was getting at least half their votes. Cruz would need a large majority of these voters to take the state.
“El Rushboob was trying to sell this like it is a big deal.”
“Watch how fast The Gov. gets on the Trump train when Trump locks up the delegate count.”
The swirling Rushbowl effect continues. Thanks for the feedback.
Pence kept the door open to join Trump after Trump kicks Snarly/Scuz’s butt in Alamo, Indiana.
If Pence doesn’t he will be defeated.
“Not a good idea if the top strand of the fence is barbed wire.”
The above was one of my Grand Dad’s favorite joke about fence straddling, which I will post here.:)
Ah yes. Taking both sides. The perfect politician.
That is NOT an endorsement.
True, but the MSM (CNN, Fox, etc.) are all calling it an endorsement.
I just couldn’t understand what was going on, especially after Knight endorsed Trump and was at his rallies with him, and Trump and Christie had met at Pence’s home that day...so I put my thinking cap on, follow the money...and I really think this is what it is...
Especially when he later said specifically that he was not endorsing nobody, but that he would be "voting" for Ted Cruz.
Not exactly a ringing endorsement, when it comes right down to it.
Of course, Gov. Pence isn't particularly popular anyway in Indiana, so this non-endorsement will not help Ted Cruz at all.
Just more grasping at straws by the failed Cruz campaign.
Vote Trump
Here’s something else that is very interesting:
Rush Limbaugh: Whos Really Funding His Success?
Posted on June 10, 2015 by the Old Manavatar
Rush LimbaughTime and time again you read a story which says in one way or the other that Rush Limbaugh is finished. Typically it happens shortly after another major sponsor or radio station drops Limbaugh. The latest is WRKO radio in Boston, Massachusetts who announced late last month that they intend to drop him in the near future. That was followed up with the usual announcements from the left that Limbaugh was getting near the end. Yet he trudges on.
Limbaughs website currently boasts 593 radio stations that carry him. Although difficult to find a list or total number of stations that carried Limbaugh at the height of his popularity, this document from 2011 says Clear Channel carried him on 600 radio stations. Clear Channel was the big dog of radio stations owners back then, which was acquired by Mitt Romneys Bain Capital in 2008.
So how many radio stations have actually dropped Limbaugh? It appears that just a handful is all hes lost. The confusion came in 2013 when Cumulus Media announced they were dropping him and Sean Hannity, which would have involved slightly more than 40 stations. But that never happened. Just a month later it was announced that Cumulus had reached an agreement with Limbaugh and the show would go on. But as youll read below, the negotiations most likely included a third party.
Limbaugh has lost less than a dozen radio stations since the flare up over him started two or three years ago. Thats maybe 2 percent which amounts to nothing. Therefore, what we hopefuls are left with is Limbaughs sponsor situation.
Unlike his 2008 contract with Clear Channel, there was no big splash about how much he is being paid with the new 2013 contract with Cumulus. But if you know anything about Limbaugh you probably know that his contract with Clear Channel in 2008 called for $50 million per year through 2016 (Election year). Thats a lot of money even for Clear Channel, let alone Cumulus. And theres one thing thats clear.
IHeart Media Clear Channels new name is losing money head over heels. They post a $309.2 million loss for the last quarter of 2014. That was nearly three times more than the same quarter the year before. And the industry attributes the majority of that loss to Rush Limbaugh. Then theres their $20 billion-plus debt theyre trying to service. So the question is who is really funding Limbaughs $4 million-plus salary each month?
GOP Divide ConquerThe answer is simple: The Koch brothers Charles and David. But why would they do that?
Its a wide-open secret that the only way the Kochs, tea party and Republican Party can remain in power is through populist division the old tried-and-true divide & conquer method. They do that spreading hate and fear, using the likes of Rush Limbaugh and Shaun Hannity as their puppets. And quite frankly $5 million is pocket change for the Kochs, especially when you consider the power and bigger fortunes to be gained.
So the die is cast; dont expect Limbaugh to go anywhere no time soon. That is, at least until the 60 and over generation dies off, which will leave few supporters of this radical hate and Koch agenda.
“... the MSM (CNN, Fox, etc.) are all calling it an endorsement.”
yep, of course they are!!! You’d think they could figure out “[Pence] encouraged Hoosier voters to ‘make up their own minds.’” isn’t exactly an endorsement. But, alas, they are only journalists. We can’t expect too much.
