Donald Trump scored a major endorsement from a very beloved Indiana hero, Hoosier basketball coach Bobby Knight. The endorsement serves to give an important boost to help Trump win the state in his march to the nomination. But on CNN Tonight with Don Lemon Thursday when asked to respond to critics that suggest Trump was not a real conservative Knight admitted, You know, I'm not sure what a conservative is.
I don't know whether a conservative is a guy that goes to bed too early or maybe doesn't sleep long enough or just what the hell he might be, the coach explained. I don't know. Maybe he's a guy that -- you know, he just wants to be real quiet. I don't know what a conservative is, he continued.

The people who vote to give taxpayer money to Planned Parenthood call themselves conservative.
The people who supported Obama funding ISIS call themselves conservative.
The people who support homosexuals suing small businesses and the government ruining these small businesses call themselves conservatives.
The people who oppose securing the border with Mexico call themselves conservatives.
The people who vote for uncontrolled government spending and ruinous deficits call themselves conservatives.
The people who support bad trade deals and outsourcing American jobs call themselves conservatives.
Knight is correct in the sense that there are many who claim to be conservative who are no more conservative than Obama or Shrillary.
But if Knight doesn’t know what principles a conservative should hold, he’s just plain ignorant.
Here are the eleven Reagan principles.
Freedom
Faith
Family
Sanctity and Dignity of Human Life
American Exceptionalism
The Founders Wisdom and Vision
Lower Taxes
Limited Government
Peace Through Strength
Anti-Communism
Belief in the Individual

I think linguistics would be fascinating to study in the GOPe.
How many times do we have to be stabbed in the back before we wake up and realize those aren’t extra buttonholes built in by the shirt factory?
“For those who might have forgotten a conservative believes in limited government, the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, fiscal responsibility, and traditional values.”
Description of a conservative pretty much rules out Fiorina, Cruz choice for a running mate.
As a sports coach/trainer in my local community, I’ve always listened to what BobbyK has to say about talent and character. He IS America’s coach.
Whatever happened to Beck? He used to be good, then he started going off the deep end.
I’ve noticed that many people who become famous also change in detrimental ways... the pressure of public attention seems to be destructive.
Amen! Have you seen how Cruz manipulates language?
He is not just an apprentice liar; Cruz is a master’s master.
The man has a PhD in lying.
I think Bobby might have slightly more influence in IN than Yeb. Any state for that matter. Even FL.
The most vociferous antiTrump professional conservatives became very wealthy while the country became worse. They led to a dead end.
It is arguable that the GOPe is guilty of high crimes and innumerable misdemeanors against the English language.
They could only have learned that while studying under democrats.
A liar’s liar, perhaps?
Well there’s been no lack of contact!
GOPe define conservative as; “GOPe”
Neocons describe conservatives as; “Neocon”
Uniparty describes conservative as; “Republican”
Trump supporters describe conservative as; “America first”
Beck was only good if one ignored the stupidity and ugly stuff he's continually said, for years and years.
What’s a “conservative?” Ask a “Paleo-Conservative.” Pat Buchanan knows, and Donald Trump listened:
“Can anyone argue that our interventions to overthrow regimes and erect democratic states in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Libya and Yemen have succeeded and been worth the price we have paid in blood and treasure, and the devastation we have left in our wake?
George W. Bush declared that Americas goal would become to end tyranny in our world. An utterly utopian delusion, to which Trump retorts by recalling John Quincy Adams views on America: She goes not abroad in search of monsters to destroy.
To the neocons worldwide crusade for democracy, Trumps retort is that it was always a dangerous idea to think we could make Western democracies out of countries that had no experience or interest in becoming Western democracies.

> The man has a PhD in lying.
AKA a law degree from Harvard
I want people to work, support them selves and offspring, keep their hands off of me and my stuff and I don't care what two adults do in private.
I do care what people do with children, what they do in the men's room {or women's room} and how we treat the unborn human.
I don't give a fat rat's ass about baby seals, polar bears, or "man-made climate change" because it is all BS.
The insane 'treaties or agreements' we have made with other countries indicate we need Trump because we need major change in our approach to the rest of the world.
As Trump says, it's simple, AMERICA FIRST!!!
