MANCHESTER, N.H. —Texas Sen. Ted Cruz will announce on Wednesday afternoon that former presidential rival Carly Fiorina has agreed to be his running mate should he win the GOP presidential nomination.
Sources confirmed to WMUR political director Josh McElveen and political reporter John DiStaso that Fiorina, who has been a supporter of Cruz for several weeks, will be the focus of the announcement that Cruz intends to make in Indiana Wednesday afternoon.

I think it’s illegal. Isn’t there some law about making promises to people for positions in your administration before you are nominated is illegal? It’s like a bribe (not that Ted has any problem with that).

Trump should start playing himself up as the unity candidate—the only one that can avoid a contested convention.
Do you want a contested convention, which will hand the White House to Hillary? Or, do you want to go into the convention unified, so we can focus on beating Hillary in the fall?

The people have spoken loud and clear: we don’t want Ted Cruz! Donald Trump is far ahead in vote counts. He LISTENS to the people and offers new ideas and solutions to Problems. Like the $19 trillion debt for example! Let’s stop making bad deals.
Meanwhile, after getting less than a quarter of the votes and Coming in third last night in most cases, he’s forging ahead when he should be dropping out!! If I had any respect for the man left, it is completely gone now.

He got no counties in SC, FL, TN, CT, RI, MD, DE, NY, VA, PA and probably some more states.
He has only won 4 states where voters actually get to vote for their candidate

I like Martinez a lot, but, if I recall correctly, she made some kind of anti-Trump comment about a month ago.
She has no ability to move the CA primary and as a VP pick, if he were to steal the nomination, she’s a waste of a pick. What state can she deliver? He made it sound like it would be earth shaking news. A Pence endorsement would have been better.
This is just a stunt to grab the news cycle. I hope it gets the 10 minutes it deserves.
