A former Trump supporter now a Cruz supporter called into Ingram’s show earlier today as well.
Said trump always uses the same talking points and never expands from them.
She said to him that Cruz is always using the same talking points, always says the same thing, but it’s the end of the primary and Trump is giving a foreign policy speech, so maybe he should listen to that.
Not sure if it’s the same guy or if there is some former trump supporter thing being pushed by “someone” today, but it seems suspicious.

I would have thought Rush was smart enough to recognize a losing hand.
As a 25 year listener, he’s become tiresome these last months.
Cruz’s 13 things that Trump and Hillary agree on sort of falls apart considering the number of GOPestablishment figure who have said they would vote for Hillary over Trump. That would seem to mean they support most of those 13 items.
Of course, Cruz’s use of them, in some instances, are intentionally vague.
It’s politics.
Having heard some of Cruz’s positions, they are the same old tired talkingpoints Republicans have been using for decades.

I think it was probably a slip-up, but I definitely heard Rush refer to Cruz as "our guy". Glad someone else heard it for confirmation.
All through the 90s I would listen to Rush in the street at work. I would have a portable radio hanging from the guardrail over the manhole I was either in or over and it would be rather loud to hear it over the generator.
During that time I worked in Harlem, Washington Heights and the South Bronx.
Cruz keeps teaming up with candidates who have already been rejected by the voters.

That is the question, isn’t it?
Rush said that the establishment’s problem with Trump is that they don’t think he can win. But Rush has also said that the establishment is perfectly fine with Hillary winning. Those two statements logically contradict each other. If the GOPe is so sure Trump will lose, and they’re also perfectly fine with a Hillary presidency, just let Trump run without all the opposition and lose?
The dirty little fact is that the GOPe may be saying that Trump can’t win, but they secretly think he can, or they wouldn’t be fighting him so hard.
For me, his tone in delivering the stump speech overtook the points he was trying to make. Anger does not become him.
Hey Rush how about you not comment on a speech you obviously weren’t able to watch ?? Just tuned him in for curiosity only and here he is asking Snerdly about it and playing soundbites all the while NOT giving it an A Plus like it should get. It was a great speech
I think about 50% of my support for Trump is just because the GOP hate him and this is a great message to send them that they SUCK. The more they hate Trump, the more I want him in there.
