Other than building an empire based on the principles of capitalism, insisting that (like Washington and Jefferson) America secure its borders and refuse to participate in unfair trade, and suggest that Christianity needed a secure place in our nation, . . . nah, nothing. (This is like that Monty Python “What have the Romans ever done for us?” routine).
As a kid, Cruz didn’t have time for basketball. It interfered with the debate season.
I still love Rush.
Rush is smart. His heart is in the right place.

Yeah, I saw that. I thought Cruz might know they were called basketball HOOPS. But then again, maybe all 100 people paid to be in attendance were wowed at the size of their PAYCHECK!

America has lacked a coherent foreign policy since the end of the cold war.

We are in a war against radical Islam and Obama refuses to name it and you can’t solve a problem until you name it. Hillary slept during the Benghazi event.

This will all change when I become President. American will be a reliable ally.
We need a new rational American foreign policy, informed by dems, repubs, independents and allies.

We must be unpredictable. Isis will be gone.
2. Must rebuild our military and economy.
Our military force has atrophied and shrunk - he lists the various arms with specifics of how much smaller they are and inadequate equipment. And Obama wants to reduce them further. Obama is wanting us to focus on Global warming. US Military dominance must be unquestioned.
Talks about the debt. I know how to face it. We cannot waste a single dollar. We must address our trade and immigration policies that will grow our tax revenues that will make us strong again. Mentions the areas of cyber war.
Must take care of our vets with BEST of care that they can COUNT on.
Finally must create our foreign policy on America First. We must strive for stability not change in the environment of our enemies. Must only be generous to those who prove they are our friends.
We desire to live peacefully esp with China and Russia. We have differences, but we also have much in common such as the scourge of radical islam.
I intend to find out if we can’t make a GREAT deal for America and good for Russia. I want to find out. The same for China. They respect strength. We have lost ALL of their respect. We have to find a way to balance our trade imbalances.
Look at China in S China sea. We can both benefit by working together or go our separate ways.
Will have a series of summits with our allies, and work out strategies for approaching our challenges.
I will not hesitate to send our troops to war, but if we fight, it will be only as last resort and only if we win, and have a plan for Victory with capital V.
I don’t understand how it is so difficult for anyone with half a brain to figure out why Ted Cruz is not winning. There are so many obvious reasons with his globalism policies to his insufferable, annoying personality and lack of charisma to even begin.

Yep, Rush's 'analysis' of Trump's appeal has always been very short on the critical issues of illegal immigration and one-sided trade deals, two bad policies Rush has largely supported or remained mostly silent about.
We'll see what the rehash of Rush's 'analysis' might be in the second hour, if he does present it again.
I guess it doesn’t really matter now that Cruz isn’t going to be the nominee.
So, what has Trump done to prove his Conservative cred?

As far as bloviating, have you watched any of Trumps speeches? Or Tweets?
Boy I hope you are right. I had to turn him off after listening since 1992. I only come by here to see if the atmosphere is changing. Hopefully after the primaries, I can go back to Rush. He’s funny, witty and knows how to skewer the left like nobody else. I miss that.
