It appears that Trump is on track to achieve around 60 per cent of the vote in all five primary states tonight. He will almost certainly be well over 50% in all of them. With two other "contenders" in the race, that is quite an achievement.
But these wins were UNDERSTATED.
Remember a couple months ago when many were saying that Trump only did well in OPEN primaries, when Independents and Democrats were allowed to vote?
Well all five primaries tonight were CLOSED to Republicans only! Democrats were not allowed to vote in any of them. Rhode Island did allow Independents to pull a Republican ballot but any registered Democrat was not allowed. The other four states, you had to be a registered Republican.
That includes New York from last week by the way, where Trump had 60 per cent of that vote as well.
The significance of this is that in November, we will see millions of Independents and disaffected Democrats crossing over to vote for Donald Trump.
The notion that Trump "can't win" a general election against Shrillary Clinton has been shattered with Trump's very strong victories in six Republican only primaries over the past two weeks.
The race now moves to Indiana next week which will truly be the last stand of Cruz and Kasich. If Trump wins there, he'll be over 1,000 delegates and will be in glide path to nomination on the first ballot.
Dixie is Trump country!
For the most part It’s in liberal States are not anywhere near conservative as R’s from conservative States. Except for small pickets of gun guys. But that’s neither here nor there. I’ve been told Trump will expand the map. Well evidently that expanded map does not include PA as of right now.
Look forget about Cruz. I have and I voted for him. You want to bear the commies? Figure out a way to get never trumps to switch to never commies.
If they wanted to go to the trouble, ‘cRATS could change their registration and then vite for Trump, could they not?
Trump has less votes in Ct than Clinton’s and Sanders. Forget CT.
Happy Birthday, Melania! https://twitter.com/MasterTruth777/status/725110843000655872/photo/1?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw
So far. Not pretty.
Strange.......in Lancaster County, Sanders is beating Hildebeast..........hmmmmmmmm.
and most importantly
“Figure out a way to get never trumps to switch to never commies.”
Trump is already doing that:
20,000 dems left the party in MA to vote for Trump, he got 50% of the vote there.
Tonight a republican delegate stated that ‘thousands’ had switched parties in PA to vote Trump.
He’s going to get the indy’s, he’s going to win OH, FL, CT and NH.
He wins.
“Trump has less votes in Ct than Clintons and Sanders. Forget CT.”
It’s within 10,000 votes, very close...
And there’s 3 in the republican primary, dummy.
Trump definetly puts CT in play.
Ted Cruz: "I am king of voterless states!"
GO TRUMP!
You live in a dream world. Both Clinton and Sanders got more votes in every state than Trump with the exception of Delaware where Trump got a couple of thousand more than Sanders who got wiped out by Clinton. Trump is NOT going to win any blue States. Get that through your skull.
Look I am sure you are a nice guy but you have no idea what you are talking about here.
Ol lyin Ted needs to get out of the race now. He’s nothing but a
spoiler now. Get out Ted, or your at risk of torpedoing the only career
you’ve ever known, you ol insider you.
There are plenty of dem voters who would rather vote for Trump. Unlike
ol lyin ted, Trump will have plenty of crossover appeal in the general.
You can’t forcast off of the primary.
The ratios are getting better as the night wears on. Must have been a lot of early votes from Philly. Gone from 5:3 to 9:7.
