Conservatives attitudes toward climate change and other environmental concerns shift when the issues are reframed in terms more closely aligned with their values, a new study from Oregon State University indicates.
Researchers found that people who identified as conservative were more likely to support pro-environmental ideals when the issues were framed as matters of obeying authority, defending the purity of nature and demonstrating patriotism.
The study underscores the ways in which discussions of important topics are informed by a persons moral and ideological perspective, said the studys lead author, Christopher Wolsko, an assistant professor of psychology at OSU-Cascades.
We think were just discussing issues, but were discussing those issues through particular cultural values that we normally take for granted, Wolsko said. If you re-frame issues to be more inclusive of those diverse values, peoples attitudes change.

Hmmmmm. Psychologist says to NOT support fighting climate discombobulation means, you gotta be crazy. Same one that says if you DO support the 2nd amendment means you, gotta be crazy. But then again it was just the assistant tryin’ to sound like they know what they’re talkin’ about. FAIL.

And they are trying to define PATRIOTS as "populists" in a pejorative sense of the word with its bad connotations.
Cruz and the Washington and world elite are trying to make GLOBALISM into CONSERVATISM, and successfully duping the useful idiot Cruzers on FR, AND using FR itself as a platform to espouse this. They know: if you control words and their meaning, you are in control.
“Researchers found that people who identified as conservative were more likely to support pro-environmental ideals when the issues were framed as matters of obeying authority, defending the purity of nature and demonstrating patriotism.”
From this one sentence, you know that their research is false...they don’t even understand conservatism.
There is no science in any of their rhetoric or actions. This is fraud and hoax, fooling only a credible cadre of leftist anti American, anti capitalists. They know not of what they do or speak.
So being stupid (scientifically) is now considered “patriotic”.
In truth, it’s merely “pathetic”.
