The chairwoman of the Boulder County GOP has admitted that grave errors affected the Colorado Republican caucus, in which Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX)97% won a clean sweep of 34 delegates without opening up the process to voting by everyday citizens.
Breitbart News has obtained an email that Boulder County GOP chairwoman Peg Cage sent to other top Republican officials in Colorado, including to other party chairs, describing the errors in the process that led to the perception of fraud. Reached for comment on the email, Cage said that the caucus might have to be done over.

LOL!
“Cruz sounded good in the Senate, but Ive come to see that with all the conservative fronts he put on, he knew he wasnt going to get anything changed. I believe he did it all for show...”
It was worse! Cruz HARMED us, because now Ryan & McConnell can use Cruz as to why we can’t do anything, like shutting down the funding.Nice slick moves, Ted.
“Freeper holdonnow is missing from that zot list.”
Indeed!
For sure.
damned rat bastards...
I hope, for Mark’s same, that he somehow gets through this. He’ll have to face the truth square on to do it. It’ll be an uncomfortable experience, but he’ll be a better man for having done so.
Yep
“...ban me for no other reason than not being completely in the bag for Trump.”
I think the boss is well aware of your position, yet here you are, safe as ever, and able to communicate your point of view to anyone you like.
You’ve been here long enough to know that Jim would only boot a member if they become disruptive and destructive to the central goals and purposes of Free Republic.
No one’s getting the zot, simply because they support Cruz.
Was wondering if this is the GOPe’s way of getting rid of Cruz. Kinda like the apple turning on the worm.
We have a situation with our own primary this year. Our County Clerk decided it was too expensive to actually have the primary in our little town in the middle of nowhere. So we can do absentee ballot or drive over 200 miles round trip to vote. I wonder what people in cities would think if they were told in order to vote in person they would have to drive over 200 miles? This is supposed to save the county money. Yes we can vote absentee but I have always been skeptical of that, there always seems to be stories here and there about absentee ballots not being counted.
I guess my point is how much trouble should we be expected to go to in order to vote or in the case of states with caucuses to participate? I looked up the process to be a delegate in my state and if you have any other commitments you can forget doing that. The distances you would have to travel and days you would need to be gone eliminate a lot of people with jobs, animals, children. Not to mention the money you would be out of pocket doing it all. I am sure it is not as hard to do it all in smaller states but to do it in my state you would have to be footloose, fancy free, and have some travel money.
A do over would be hilarious.
Must be a lot of disgruntled Republicans or a lot of former Republicans or both.
I don’t know if I’d call it that, but it generally isn’t productive. Why bother with it.
Bkmrk
Crickets. I’m absolutely amazed at how far Cruz has managed to get on what is apparently a really despicable personality.
Bingo. Everything he’s done since he was 15 was calculated to run for President.
That’s what it’s been for me.
After all I’ve heard about Levin, same for him.
After reading this thread, I turned Rush on for the first time in a long, long time to see if he’d admit that the CO scam is breaking down.
He spent the whole first hour pimping for sCruz and telling everyone that everything that little rat has done in CO and elsewhere is totally legal, honest, and absolutely pure. The pimp is afraid of something because this is going to cut his audience WAY BACK!
Cruz organized at the FRONT END of the process and ensured hed identified his most ardent supporters, with the best name recognition, in each Congressional District, and at the State level.
That is called a slate.
Then, when other Cruz delegates see a Slate of vetted Cruz supporters running for National Assembly, they know their best bet is to vote for that slate.
Aside from that, of the 630 delegates running for National from the State Assembly (14 pages) only 1 page was bound to Trump, while 4 1/2 pages were bound to Cruz.
(8 1/2 pages unbound)
THAT is why Trump canceled his speech at State and decided to whine and lie about the process, instead.
That’s nice and all but that is just a selection of delegates.
