Donald J. Trump Response to Cruz and Kasich Campaigns
It is sad that two grown politicians have to collude against one person who has only been a politician for ten months in order to try and stop that person from getting the Republican nomination.
Senator Cruz has done very poorly and after his New York performance, which was a total disaster, he is in free fall and as everyone has seen, he does not react well under pressure. Also, approximately 80% of the Republican Party is against him. Governor Kasich, who has only won 1 state out of 41, in other words, he is 1 for 41 and he is not even doing as well as other candidates who could have stubbornly stayed in the race like him but chose not to do so. Marco Rubio, as an example, has more delegates than Kasich and yet suspended his campaign one month ago. Others, likewise, have done much better than Kasich, who would get slaughtered by Hillary Clinton once the negative ads against him begin. 85% of Republican voters are against Kasich.
Collusion is often illegal in many other industries and yet these two Washington insiders have had to revert to collusion in order to stay alive. They are mathematically dead and this act only shows, as puppets of donors and special interests, how truly weak they and their campaigns are. I have brought millions of voters into the Republican primary system and have received many millions of votes more than Cruz or Kasich. Additionally, I am far ahead of both candidates with delegates and would be receiving in excess of 60% of the vote except for the fact that there were so many candidates running against me.
Because of me, everyone now sees that the Republican primary system is totally rigged. When two candidates who have no path to victory get together to stop a candidate who is expanding the party by millions of voters, (all of whom will drop out if I am not in the race) it is yet another example of everything that is wrong in Washington and our political system. This horrible act of desperation, from two campaigns who have totally failed, makes me even more determined, for the good of the Republican Party and our country, to prevail!

I love the way Trump says that Kasich would get slaughtered by Hillary when the polls consistently show that Kasich would beat Hillary rather handily and it is in fact Trump who would get slaughtered by Hillary.
What do you make of that? You know he sees the polls. Is he just projecting? Thinking he can say anything and his supporters will believe him?
It’s a very weird trait.

There is a guy on Twitter @Hank45678 who has a website running 2016. His delegate projections including Wisconsin have been batting a 1000%. He has Trump well over 1237 come June 7.

Zombies and “True Believers.” — I have read Vineyard’s posts, and I can’t decide which one he is. Can there be a True Believer Zombie?

And the heart of the issue becomes why are so many people not able to see that stark reality?

Trump said he has had millions of negative ads bombarding him while Kasich has had none. Once the ads on him would start the polling would not be so great with him either.

The GOPe has just weighed in - from the Vineyard no less. Fitting.

I totally agree. In my opinion, Cruz has destroyed his career, not only as only a politician but also as a lawyer. No ethical law firm would employ him. Due to his lack of ethics, he is incapable of exercising prudent judgement, and he is demonstrating that he is a loser in more ways than just this election.
When his term is up as a senator from Texas, he will be unemployable and will have to rely on Heidi's income. He blew his chances of AG or even VP. He's finished.

Could very well be. But even if short he could get some of the uncommitted.

Vote for Kasich here- Vote for Cruz there..
Doesn’t this imply that they are the same candidate- not a dimes difference between Moderate Kasich and the so called Constitutional Conservative?
To: Cobra64
Oh, I think he is highly employable as a lawyer. Lawyers are supposed to zealously represent their clients’ interests within the bounds of the law. Unless Trump’s insinuation that this collusion is illegal antitrust conspiracy (which it would be in other industries, as he suggests), Cruz has been acting like a clever lawyer.
What he has not been acting like is a politician or a political strategist. His political strategies have been winning battles for second and third ballots, but causing him to lose the war big-time.

If true, I hope Trump persues the rule of law in this matter and demands justice. If he does, it will set a precedent that a President can support the essence of the Constitution, and it will be ironic that Ted-Mr.-Constitutionalist was taken down by the intent of the document he swore to uphold and defend.

(A vote for Cruz...is now a vote for Romney / Jeb / Linda / Ryan (at the convention))

Agreed. Manafort, if he is as good as they say, probably has this task already completed.
