According to Kerick, who by the way spent a great deal of time down at Ground Zero, Donald Trump displayed incredible generosity and concern towards the volunteers and first responders who worked down at “The Pile” sifting through debris for body remains. Bernie told me without hesitation, “Trump instructed hundreds of his hotel workers to head down to Ground Zero and offer a hand doing whatever needed to be done. Be it hand out water, food, etc, etc.” I asked if the cameras caught any of this? Kerick explained there were no cameras permitted in the area, and Trump knew this. Meaning, he didn’t do it for the fanfare or press clippings. Perhaps Donald did it because he loves America, and because he cares about the American people?

Kerick went on to say Trump himself visited Ground Zero to help lift spirits and to thank the tireless workers who were down there each day and night searching for bodies. “He didn’t have to do it, he wanted to do it. That’s the Trump I know.”

Ruddy said he was speaking recently with former New York City Police Commissioner Bernie Kerik, who told him that after the 9/11 attacks, Trump called to say he was emptying out his buildings and his staffs, sending 500 to 1,000 of his people to Ground Zero to help. Trump even came to the site to help.

Ruddy said when other business owners were thinking about evacuating the city, Trump took the opposite approach.

“There were no press conferences, no photo ops,” said Ruddy. “That’s the sort of good Donald Trump that we all know. I’ve chatted with him and said, ‘Hey, look, you’ve got to stop attacking all of the people that you’re going to need in the general election.’”

It’s sad to see Levin destroy his credibility for such a loser like bought and paid for career politician Ted Cruz. Levin has done great harm to his Article 5 campaign. It’s DOA now.

My question remains, does he really not see the negatives about Cruz like others do? That is where he is losing credibility. There are a lot of things I totally don't like about Trump, and I don't pretend they're not there. Everything is a trade-off. Only in Levin's world, he seems to think Cruz is perfect. Not the perfect candidate, just perfect.

I don't know the radio business at all, except I think programming is sold in package deals, if syndicated. While someone like Rush Limbaugh can command his own affiliates, not all hosts draw enough audience to necessarily opine with sincerity. Hannity, working for Murdoch half of the day, manages to walk a line. Ingraham is a breath of fresh air, though I do not know who distributes her show, as I have to stream it.

Talk radio and politicians love the 100% conservative idea. They can raise money and pledge to be more conservative than the next guy, without actually getting any results or being held accountable.

What I don't think Levin or Rush realize, the more they do it, the more their listeners catch on. At first, I thought Rush was just goodnaturedly warm to the Trump supporters, but he has gotten less successful in hiding his true derision, Levin likewise.
