Congratulations to our presumptive nominee, Donald Trump!

Congratulations to our presumptive nominee, Donald Trump!

Great job in New York and throughout this campaign. Cruz and Kasich are now mathematically eliminated and just like all the others who were mathematically eliminated should concede and drop out so we can all unite behind our nominee and prepare to defeat the godless America-hating traitor Hillary Clinton in November.

As conservatives and patriots, it's time to put bruised egos behind us, heal our differences and act united in the best interests of our nation. The media and the GOPe will try to keep us divided, of course, but we must not fall for their treasonous tricks.

A divided Republican party will ensure Hillary waltzes into the White House in November.

Freedom is never more than one generation from extinction. Hillary would be a third term for Obama and would complete his mission of completely destroying America.

Do not let freedom expire on our watch!!

I'm praying this forum and our loyal members will now be shifting into high gear to defend our freedom by uniting against the treasonous enemy within.

Let's get Trump over the 1237 mark and finally take the GOPe completely out of the picture!!

Then onward to the presidency in November!!

You’re right - Robert Gelinas nailed that one... and VERY early on...

From link:

http://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2015/08/the_trump_paradox.html

...Yet all those qualities seem to make him {Trump} all the more endearing to many folks.

How can this be? Because the chattering class, professional politicians, lobbyists, bureaucrats, consultants, and other various species of government parasites are only looking for a standard bearer to win the balance of power and perks for their team/tribe. If their guy or gal wins, then all the power and wealth of the insatiable, ever-growing Leviathan known as Government shifts in their direction and inures to their benefit. So, naturally, their presidential aspirant must be cut from the right political cloth, hold the right pedigree and doctrinal views, possess the proper temperament, and be fully prepared to support, defend, and continue to grow the sacred institution of centralized government.

The People just want a competent dragon slayer to kill the damn thing.

It still will remain ‘their’ party no matter what they change. People who “Join” are members of what they determine.

I meant the vitrol and the zotting. It was pretty bad then and it was pretty bad last time too. Its just the nature of a group of passionate people who disagree.

Good post and your concerns need to be addressed.

I hope Jim will come back and make his position a little clearer.

I think what’s going on is that some of the paid Cruz trolls who had hijacked dormant accounts are simply bowing out now that they’ve finally been check-mated.

Bingo!

You believe that somehow, Trump is going to overcome a 60% + negative rating among the general population (with 100% name id), a 75% negative rating with women, 30% plus of his own party saying they will not vote for him in the general election - and that is BEFORE the media and Hillary start in on him... I’m glad popcorn is cheap! I’m gonna need a lot of it.

and that is BEFORE the media and Hillary start in on him... ================

BEFORE the media ... start in on him...
BEFORE the media ... start in on him...
BEFORE the media ... start in on him...
BEFORE the media ... start in on him...

Just wanted to make sure everybody caught that little jewel.

....” we the people are the party so it’s OUR private club”....

Well...then I suggest you get involved with “your party” when they appoint committee members etc. locally, and the operations of. Rather than rant and rave after the fact.

No need to transfer weaknesses. Cruz’s weaknesses and faults are Legion.

The problem is Cruzers act like Cruz is the Messiah and Cruz agrees.

It is a question I have been asking for months now. I would be very interested to hear you make a case. It would be a first.

***

OH HEY!

Look at the irony!

You know, I almost believed you until I came across that ‘it would be a first’ comment.

Can’t claim that you’re not condescending WHILE you’re being condescending in that claim. And lying for that matter, since I’ve seen people explain that to you on other threads over and over and over. I even saw you on one of Jim’s threads in which the entire thread was about that very issue.

So, no. No, I will not waste my time. You’ll do nothing but ignore my points and then call me stupid.

I would refuse to support Ted Cruz if he were to be nominated by some kind of shenanigans at the convention. Do with that what you will.

I am powerless to do anything about it, is up to Jim Robinson.

"Shenanigans" is a word the meaning of which is in the eye of the holder or in the holder of the pen and leaves you with virtually any option you wish. But let us assume that a convention in which no rules changes are made and acting in accordance with those rules votes in Ted Cruz, would you then support the party nominee against Hillary Clinton?

Yet you still support and don’t question the fact that you are on the same side as the guy you claim was the deal breaker.

That is hypocrisy.

Oh I understand a lot better than you think. LOL.

Well, you could drop the ‘worship’ bit. Many people who support Trump do so from a very reasoned standpoint. (And I’ve never referred to Cruz people as ‘worshippers’, or derided them personally at all.)

I could be mistaken.

As I recall, the picture of Giuliani in drag did it for me. I thought that was exactly the wrong message to send to the muslim hordes at the time. As such, I didn’t frequent his threads as much.

Romney wanted to build a fence. Trump wants to build a wall. The multi-billion dollar border fence can be defeated by a auto-jack.

Trump is the only candidate serious about securing the border. Mitt never was and Ted will do exactly what the GOPe tells him to do. Trump will raise 5 kinds of hell until either he is defeated by the congress on the issue or they capitulate and bow to his demands for a wall.

He may not get it done but at least we will have someone who actually takes the first steps to really securing the border. And those first steps are a newly elected President pointing at Congress and saying "The main plank of my campaign platform was building a wall to secure the border and the people have spoken, let us begin."
