Congratulations to our presumptive nominee, Donald Trump!
Great job in New York and throughout this campaign. Cruz and Kasich are now mathematically eliminated and just like all the others who were mathematically eliminated should concede and drop out so we can all unite behind our nominee and prepare to defeat the godless America-hating traitor Hillary Clinton in November.
As conservatives and patriots, it's time to put bruised egos behind us, heal our differences and act united in the best interests of our nation. The media and the GOPe will try to keep us divided, of course, but we must not fall for their treasonous tricks.
A divided Republican party will ensure Hillary waltzes into the White House in November.
Freedom is never more than one generation from extinction. Hillary would be a third term for Obama and would complete his mission of completely destroying America.
Do not let freedom expire on our watch!!
I'm praying this forum and our loyal members will now be shifting into high gear to defend our freedom by uniting against the treasonous enemy within.
Let's get Trump over the 1237 mark and finally take the GOPe completely out of the picture!!
Then onward to the presidency in November!!
A fool and their money - I will be donating $100 FR to counter your stupidity.
A smug - Cheers to you too
Most Canadians are nice people, but they can’t be President.
“A lot of Trump supporters have said their goal was to tear down the GOP; well, I think they succeeded, at least for this year.”:
Trump losing wouldn’t tear down the party; after all, the GOP has lost two times in a row already. A Trump win on the other hand would reform the GOP into a party of the people instead of a party of the rich oligarch and plutocrat string-pullers. What WOULD tear down the party is for the convention to appoint someone as nominee who has fewer popular votes and fewer delegates going into the convention than the front runner.
Given my choice of Gore in 2000, or no gay marriage, I’ll take W anytime.
Algore would not have made gay marriage just permissible. He would have made it mandatory!
” unless the people remaining to vote lose their minds in large enough numbers for Trump”
So, anyone who votes for Trump has lost their mind?
....”No matter who gets the nomination, there is no way a Republican gets elected this year - too much bad blood”....
I’m beginning to think along the lines of that possibility from those I’ve conversed with....they’re absolutely disgusted with the entire tenor of “the people” supporting Trump and believe he’s responsible for inciting the trash we’ve seen and heard in this election. That Trump setting aside political correctness is not what he did, rather he opened the flood gates of speaking and doing whatever one wants to regardless of even common decency.
Other people finally fed up lashed back...rather than keep being a doormat for the insults and vile accusations of his supporters, and he himself. So then the Trump supporters did just as Trump does...they whined about who started it etc. etc.
So yes, too much blood spilled for many....those I spoke with today refuse to vote for Trump and will vote down ticket in the election. Some said they believe Cruz is this last nations opportunity to get the right man in...any other they believe will just take the country down further and they will not sign onto that. To them if it’s Trump or Hillary they see the end game just the same.
I amSeriously considering writing a data mining plugin or bookmarketlet that can give a quick break down of a FR poster - tired of the phonies - politicians, pundits, radio talk show hosts, form posters or what not. Looking at you Ben Shapiro and Ted Cruz
Jim, I'd like to request access to your RESTful API - stop laughing, I work on Catalyst every day I feel your pain
Do you want an answer or do you want to condescend and insult?
Don’t bother replying; I KNOW you want to condescend and insult, since that’s all you’ve ever done when people answer you.
Arthur, there will be a second ballot unless one of the candidates reaches 1237 prior to the convention.
Trump has a chance to get there but it’s far from certain.
This would not involve any change in policy or any ‘screwing’ of Trump.
It’s the rules of the Convention.
The same name without the 2. Back then, I may have posted an image of a 3D-printed Ted Cruz dildo in my anger at the Cruzbots. I regret the incident, and promise not to repeat it.
Quote: Donald J. Trump got fewer votes in New York than I got in Wisconsin, and yet the delegate rules give Donald many more delegates for winning New York than I got for winning Wisconsin You dont hear me up here complaining and whining. Ted Cruz

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Sorry, Cruz squealing that he’s not whining doesn’t change the fact that the entire statement is a pathetic whine and tantrum.
“Sorry, this disaster is all on Trump - he is the one who decided the way to win was a scorched-earth campaign of personal attacks on the other candidates; and his supporters joined in with the same tactics on the supporters of other candidates. To expect they will all just fall in line for the sake of party unity after that is naive. There will be some that will hold there nose and vote for Trump if he is the candidate, but enough will not to make any chance of him winning in November a dream. And if Cruz were to win the nomination, Trump supporters have already said they would sit out or go 3rd-party. “
I see you continue to post anti-Trump diatribes even though the owner of Free Republic, Jim Robinson, has called for everyone posting here to rally behind Trump, the presumptive nominee, which by the way, large numbers of media outlets are proclaiming as well:
https://www.google.com/search?q=trump+presumptive+nominee&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8
To continue to attack Trump here is simply giving aid and comfort to Hillary Clinton.
As usual, I have to analyze the data and the facts before I make a conclusion. I’m not thrilled with anyone who is still running. You came to your conclusion before I did. Hopefully, you can respect that I am not there yet.
I certainly won’t campaign against Trump on FR, but I am not ready to cheer him on either. I ain’t cheering for Cruz or Kasich either.
Maybe Trump will improve in my eyes. Maybe I’ll have to get snot-slinging drunk to pull the lever. Maybe Christ will return to take us home before I finish my analysis.
Whatever the conclusion, it ain’t worth losing dear friends. I adore each of you. I’ll see you on the other side of this mess. Keep an eye out. You might see me at your six. ;)
Its interesting that Cruz supporters, by a vast majority, have continued to say we will support the nominee, even if its Trump.

Did you even READ the thread?
Sorry. If you’re talking about FR Cruzies, that statement is either ignorant or a lie.
"CROOKED HILLARY"!
Caww, I fear for the country in this election.
Cruz supporters here are Americans and Republicans and members here and I think we deserve a little respect as long as we don’t use personal attacks, racism or violence.
I try to post informational stuff, supporting Cruz..yes, but not demeaning of Trump... well, maybe a little demeaning.
If both sides can’t have a voice, why call it a forum?
The thing is a contested convention fractures the right giving the Dems the win. There is no path to victory from such. The Only path to capture the White Hut is with the Popular guy who brings in new blood.
That’ll do it every time. :)
But we the people are the party so it’s OUR private club.
We just need to take it back from the dirty bastards that hijacked it for their personal gain.
